I bought a couple of tube tanks and packs of cartomizers from Volcano along with my Lavatube. I figured I'd use one of the tube tanks on the Provari I recently bought. Unfortunately I'm having some troubles with the carts. Reading through their forum, it seems to be a common problem. I see a lot of good comments about Boge carts, however. My question is, can I use them in my tube tank, in that are they all generally the same size? I know I may have to punch the holes myself- I'll probably pick up a saddle valve tomorrow. Or do I have to buy new tanks also? Right now the cartos are either running dry or flooding. It's as if there is some tiny window between not enough dry puffs, or too many. I managed to get the 3rd 3ohm carto working, and I'm about to try on my 3rd 1.5 ohm DCC.

I have 2 different tanks but I don't have a tube tank from Volcano, from the picture on their web-site it looks like the cart has a flange at the bottom. If it does, then I suggest getting 1 smoketech cart to see if it fits your tank.

If you vape a juice with a higher percentage of VG, the punched cartos are horrible. The tiny hole won't allow juice in fast enough. You will need to slot them with a dremel.

Yes, Boge will work if your tanks are 3ml's. Anything bigger than that, unless it is a fat tank, you'll have to use a tall cartomizer.

ORLY?? I use 75-80%VG and have no problems with wicking.

OP, yes you can use different cartos. As long as they make a snug fit, go for it.

The 1.7ohm resurrector works in dcc tanks no problem.Fill the carto, slot it,put it in the tank, fill the tank-ready to go.Regular boge(or any standard 510 carto) is too short for a dcc tank unless the tank is cut down a little
