I placed an order back on the 13th.... Brad sent me an email letting me know that he was waiting on batteries to come in before he could ship out my order. I sent him an email on the 4th of April and he replied back saying that he would sent out the order the next Monday...have not heard anything from him sense then.....Brad seems like a good guy and I know he will do the right thing.

I decided to open a Paypal dispute too. I did not mention e-cigs. I hope I do not have to escalate it to filing a claim.

I contacted a Moderator, asking him to look into this. Haven't heard anything back as of yet.
Oh yeah......nothing in the mail today. No surprise there. I guess I'll have to order a different mod, maybe a roughstack from Madvapes. A bit pricier, but at least I'll get it.
Again, I hope everything is OK with Brad, but until I hear directly from him, I'll have to assume I've been screwed. :(
Update: Just opened up a Paypal dispute with no mention of e-cigs. Since I paid with a credit card, I'm assuming I have some protection if I didn't receive the item. We'll see.

i guess we can always tell pp, that the money is for batteries and chargers?

I don't know if you have to be specific. They have various categories......I checked off "electronics."
On another note, I've been informed that moderators are looking into the situation, and are trying to contact Brad to find out what's going on. At least there's movement.

All I can say is be patient folks. Let Brad take care of his family first. When medical becomes an issue, it is very important to have your priorities straight. Sometimes things come up unexpectedly and we have to deal with them accordingly. Sometimes we don't have choices. You would want people to do the same for you. Please remember the "Golden Rule".

Brad I really hope that things are getting better. God Bless.

Nice thoughts Skeets, but I think what a lot of people are saying he could at least post quickly to let us know personally instead of posting about other stuff in the Outside Forum.

After all, he does have a lot of our money, it's been a long time and if he's as good a guy as everyone says he'd at least do that. At this stage we don't really know anything except he hasn't posted here since 3/27, nobody's received one and for a lot us that's been 3 weeks now. Everything else is hearsay.

I can certainly understand all the different points of view (and emotions) being expressed here, from concern to good faith to frustration and even anger.

I sent my paypal payment to Brad way back on March 16th. When it became obvious ten days later that there was some fly in the ointment, I took advantage of a new supplier sale I saw in the Deals and Steals thread and ordered two 3.7 volt 14500 2AA box mods (clear plastic) from goodejuice.com for $15 each, including shipping. They arrived in record time (three days) and have already satisfied my curiosity as to what an inexpensive little 3.7 box can do (which is why I ordered one from Brad in the first place). I went to higher voltage vaping early on and really haven't looked back. Lots of posters on the REO thread post about how they are completely satisfied with their REO Minis running off a high-drain 14500 at 3.7 volts with a 1.5-2.0 ohm LR atty/carto, and I wanted to see if I might feel the same.

Since I already have a whole stable of much more expensive mods---four variable voltage PVs, three tube mods that run 6 volts, two 5 volt-regulated boxes, three bottom-feeders, etc.---this mystery and waiting game aren't particularly aggravating. If Brad (and my $20, since I didn't order batteries) just vanish without a trace, it's only a drop in the bucket for all the coin I've spent on this "hobby" in the past seven months.

If I happen to check the mail someday and find a package from Brad, it'll be like a surprise gift.

I disputed the charges with PayPal as well. Hopefully, Brad will contact us and try to find a resolution to all of this. It seems like since the day I ordered, all I heard was, "The order will ship on Monday". Too many Mondays have passed since then.

Things go wrong. I completely understand that. But, there is also that small chance that we could have all gotten scammed. That's a chance most of us take when making deals here on ECF; whether it be through one of the suppliers, classifieds, or other personal transactions.

He could just be scared and embarrassed about how everything has gone wrong. If that's the case, I certainly don't want to kick the man while he's down. But, I do want to know what has happened. I still want to believe that all of this was completely unintentional.

There's too many possibilities to choose from when trying to figure this all out.

So what are you saying? That you're so wealthy that you're going to stand surety on everybody who has sent money but hasn't received anything? What bearing does your position have on this situation? Or are you going to send out some of your mods to those of who need them, thanks I'll take one.

I bought this mod as part of my plan to give up analogs, happy to say I managed to cut back and have now been totally off for 4 days now, but it sure wasn't on account of this affordable mod, that all were praising him for doing. Others placed orders to gift smokers to help them along, hasn't helped them either.

I don't mean to belittle condolences to him from people who've received their orders already, but we're supposedly talking about knee surgery right? Plus he did post elsewhere except not here, did not respond to people who've sent him money, nor follow through on promised delivery or refunds that he said he was going to do.

Yeah, it's great that he does this without making a large profit and that's certainly true. However he should be living up to his obligations and if circumstances prevent that, he should be comminicating, either directly with each customer or at least a post here.

I have personally not done anything regarding Paypal because it possibly could escalate this and other transactions with vaping. But I am disappointed, do not even know whether I should be concerned about my $56 and frankly have little patience for sanctimonious posts from those who've received theirs in the past or don't really care if they lose $20 because they have 15 more expensive pvs already.

Or maybe I'm just being crabby going through withdrawals from the hundreds of thousands of cigarettes that I didn't avoid smoking. Or maybe that's what this was supposed to be about.

I can certainly understand all the different points of view (and emotions) being expressed here, from concern to good faith to frustration and even anger.

Gee Brad, I hate to open a ticket at PayPal. Don't wanna draw attention to this, but can't afford to be out the bucks. PLEASE AT LEAST RESPOND. Post here (3.7 volt 510 box mod with 2 14500 trustfire batteries and charger $30 free shipping plus 20 ml juice) so we all can know what's going on. I'm a patient and understanding person, just not rich. You've been on the forum, so come here and let us know.

Wow looks like this situation is slowing turning into a Vapezilla fiasco, hope all recieve there money back or a mod that they paid for and that saying its going out on monday finally comes true... I was gonna order a couple more of these but guess I will find someone else to take care of my needs, I was gonna get them for friends who are looking to quit smoking but do not have a lot of money to spend on a high voltage mod so figured this deal would be great. I totally understand everyones frustration and hopefully this situation works out for the best for all who are involved but at this point it doesnt look good for those that are waiting especially if emails and pms are going unanswered for so long..

What bearing does your position have on this situation?

No more than yours or anyone else's does, pal. This is a public forum. People are allowed to share their experiences.

I frankly have little patience for sanctimonious posts from those who don't really care if they lose $20...

Sanctimonious??? Funny, my post wasn't holier-than-thou when I wrote it. I think it just got that way inside your head. Yeah, I'm lucky enough that $20 lost won't cause me not to make rent, but I'm not down on you for being upset about your $56, and nothing in my post implied that.

Or maybe I'm just being crabby...

Yes, you are.
