thanks for helping out. i paid via pp as well. im out 62 bucks, and i do feel the pinch. it doesnt sound like a lot of cash, but, right this minute it is. havent worked in a month. i have three kids, and wife but im the sole provider.

I know the feeling I was about to retire when I got laid off then me and the wife filed for custody of the grandkids after my son died serving over seas. Money in these times of layoffs and unbelievable gas prices every penny is important. Paypal will pay claims it just takes forever.

PP claims on this should all just be escalted ASAP, just saves you time in the end.

once escalated, you still have to wait the full time.so save yourself a few days and just escalate it from the get-go, if he actually responds then all will be well, but otherwaise you still have to wait. 14 days

Thank you ejoker and unsure and any others, for all that you are doing.

Like some others, I am mainly concerned about what happened to Brad. I have his mailing address (from other transactions) but that doesn't do me any good.

My payment: I think I sent as a gift, because of our history, but at this point, it was such a small amount for me (right now) that it is not important in my mind. IF I can help anyone else, I would be happy to do that. Please let me know Gil, and my sincere sympathies as well.

Hopefully this will be resolved for those hurting the most.

Dunno if this is a good idea or not, but....

Maybe someone who has already recieved an item from Brad could forward the address the package was mailed from to ejoker and ask him to do a reverse search on the address to see if he can come up with a phone number to call.

If successful, then if something has occured that prevents Brad from responding to e-mails and/or PM's, then there may be someone else that will pick up and explain.

I will be posting details soon of how those who meet certain criteria will be getting their mods batteries and maybe more. Several of us are hammering out those details and then I'll post it here so keep checking this thread. Just keep in mind we are doing this just to help out those that have ZERO options in recooping their losses and NO MONEY from those that meet the criteria will be ask for (NOTE: WE ARE SELLING NOTHING OR PROMOTING NOTHING)......it will be free. Again, keep an eye on this thread and in the next day or so I will post exactly what & how it will happen.

According to Resolution Center: Paypal is waiting for seller to respond. PayPal requests more information from the buyer to resolve the issue. If the buyer doesn't respond within the allotted timeframe, we close the case and restore funds to the rightful owner. The date indicates they wait 10 days from the date of escallation.

Today is my one month birthday since ordering :p More importantly it's my 14th day cancer-stick free.:hubba:

Unsure & whoever else is working on the remedy for those SOL, fantastic! Looks like the last shall be first hey. Instead of Paying It Forward, we can call it Paying for Foul-up.

First let me say a huge thank you for kind words and offers of $$ and other forms of help. Are the members of the ECF GREAT OR WHAT!!!!!!!!! I can not accept any till I know the number of people we need to help. The listed criteria for those who will receive help are listed below. Let me just fill you in on a few things. The person who initiated this and the builder of the mods (plus some of the accessories) that will be given is Godzilla (the person not the monster lol). I convinced him to get supplier status so that we don’t break any ECF rules. Also lrd3 and Leannebug (a victim herself) plus myself are the original donors and organizers. I mention that so you all know who are all making this happen. Kick Bass Vapor also offered to help a little. This is not a profit organization though Godzilla may go on after this is settled to continue to be a supplier. This is the reason we first need to know the number of those we need to help so we don’t over collect more donated $$ and items that is necessary to help. With that said here is the criteria for those that will receive help.
You can get help if…
1) You paid Brad via any other way other than PayPal
2) You paid using PayPal using any other option other than “GOODS”
3) You sent back the mod back to Brad for repair and never got it back.
PM me if you feel that you deserve help and or I have neglected some other valid criteria.

Also, we will need you to specify whether you are out just the box mod, or the entire kit.
We may ask for some proof of payment if possible. If you do not have proof, your request for help may not be considered, and will be up to us.

OMG, you guys are awesome and this is the type of stuff I LOVE to see on these forums! I am so touched right now I feel like crying.

That being said. I paid Brad through paypal as a gift. I trusted him and thought the $30 was already ridiculously low. I am not in a position where I need anybody to reach in their pocket to help me personaly. I did however purchase the kit to help someone I know hopefully start vaping. I unfortunately wrote it off as a loss.

Again, I really appreciate you guys and your efforts for the people that truly need it. What a great community we have.
