First off I would like to thank all of the madvapes crew. Without your materials none of this would have been possible. Also thanks go out to the modders that came up with this kind of stuff so people like me can vape on a budget. Okay now that that is out of the way here it is...

Wish I could upload picks right to the thread, but mobile only access to internet pretty much blows when it comes to that. Hope you all can see it.

I initially wanted to use 2x 14500's because I have a couple that are a tad too long to stuff in the AA boxes. But after receiving a wrong box when I ordered, it gave me time to sit down an actually map out how I wanted this thing to be. Blessing in disguise I guess. So I figured I'd make it into a duel volt box since I wanted to make it compact and include a juice feed.

So I cannibalized one of my first box mods and made the battery channel and figured that 2 CR2's would fit snugly in the box and if I kept the negative spring as is I would be able to use both cr2 and 14500 batteries. I used the typical setup for the 5v 3.0 regulator and also used the guts from a camping lighter for the juice feed. For fun factor I put in the fast changing led, but for some reason it only pulses between red and blue and sometimes green. Oh well alls I know is I have a 5v/3.7v vaping machine and I like it :vapor: :vapor: :D

Hard to see those little pics, but it looks nice.

What exact project box did you use?

Yeah used my phone cam, I'll see if I can get closer pics up. As for the box I used this one.

It's about a 1/4" wider and taller than a regular AA box (if memory serves, which not always.) My only gripe with the box is it is tapered so the atty looks like I put it in crooked, but not that big of a deal.

cool! is that regulator one of those that let anything bellow say 4V pass and regulates stuff above 6V down to 5?

I think so. It's the same one used in the madvapes 5v regulators rock thread. I'm horrible with tech specs. It definitely works with both types of batteries so it makes me happy that I can finally try this 5v thing that everyone raves about.
