3.7v box mod?

Hi, so I recently built a mod with parts from madvapes, out of a 2 C cell battery box, a switch, a led, and a horn button switch. My hastily thrown together and rather crappy diagram is below:

Now this mod came out okay, but as you can see it has no master on/off switch, so it's not really a mod you'd want to carry around in your pocket. It's also uglier than a walrus with gingivitis, so I plan on making another standard 3.7v box, except this time instead of the very limited 2 C cell battery box I got from madvapes, I'm going to custom build an enclosure out of alder hobby board from Home Depot. I assume to wire in the master on/off switch I would simply place it between the battery and the horn button switch, but I wanted to come here to verify, so I don't have to go through all that de-soldering I did last time. also I was wondering if the same type of switch could be applied between the positive lead from the switch and the LED resistor so I can turn off the LED if I'm trying to stealth vape at the movies or something. Any advice/comments/help is appreciated, as is any constructive criticism. Feel free to tell me if I'm going down the wrong road with this or if there's anything potentially dangerous about what I'm doing. Thanks.

Yes, you can put a switch between the battery and the fire button. And if I understand you correctly, you want to add another switch to turn off the LED and still be able to vape. Yes, you can do that, but why not just get rid of the LED? It serves no purpose other then to tell you that you are pushing the fire button.

If it were me, I would add the master on/off switch, get rid of the LED and add a voltage meter. Being that this mod is unregulated, it would probably be good to know how low your battery is getting so you don't over-drain it.

thanks Azmo, yeah I wanted to add a voltage meter, but I have no idea where to order one. Do you know of anywhere I can start looking? I'm assuming you're talking about the liquid crystal display ones.

Edit: about the LED, I understand it serves no real purpose, my brain is just accustomed to button push = LED because I've been using a smoktech zmax for a long, long time.

Oh and Visus, I looked up RY4 and I guess it's just a standard flavor profile that many people have their own versions of. I was wondering, do you think Uncle Junk's Jon Wayne falls into the RY4 category? It fits the description, base tobacco flavor, hints of caramel and vanilla.

RY4 is not standard its the juice that started it all. It has history and a story.

Not many juices have that history, no wait, actually none do..

While other juices are tasty, they are adaptations to RY4, the original electronic cigarette tobacco..

then click images and if you like the meter visit page..

You can really dig into electronics and build a led circuit that shows low voltage.
Low Battery Indicator

So many people are learning electronics - its uber fun..
