I was speaking with the guys over at Dimension Engineering and was asking them if they have anything that would fit our bill and I gave him some specifications and he said they are currently working on something that will completely fit our bill. He even went on to say that it would be in a round shape to fit into a tube similar to what we use. It would essentially be something similar to what the Provari uses.
I use one of their DE-SWADJ 3A[FONT="] [/FONT]circuits in my 2 battery VV mod that I made a couple months back. I was mostly just using it for testing until I could get an evercool made but it worked and I just kept using it.

Why not a 04050c in a tube?

I guess I will have to wait until I get back to the house to see what you are talking about. I can not see any of your images you have posted in other areas since my work is blocking your site. It doesn't like freeware sites. Damn gov.

I guess I will have to see what the size specifications are. If they are a tighter fit I might just go with the pre-made one. Not really sure yet. I prefer the diy route though.

I'd be interested to see what the maximum output power is like. The PTN04050C is limited to 12W which is fine for standard resistance, but falls a little short of the mark with lower resistance or dual coils.
