Pete, we are saying the same thing.
but, Glycerol may be Part of Glycerine but its not Glycol (PG)
Im sure you know the difference.
I can get the chemical breakdown, but dont think it would help the Convo any.

Its not part of what you were saying but as a note for otheres, PEG, Poly Ethylene Glycol is poisonous.

thanks everyone for the reply.

I'm going to go with cigar humidifiers though because i feel they are safer.
When you smoke humidified cigars, you are smoking the humidifier liquid as well. It's time tested.

Not that glycerine would pose any significant concerns. :)

I was under the same ideas but after trying both cigar PG and some VG I must say, you're going to get a LOT more satisfaction out of the amount of vapor produced using VG vice PG. The PG will still work and taste fine but the plumes of vapor from it are kinda lackluster. Keep in mind I was using concentrated (see pure Propylene Glycol) humidifier PG meaning it wasn't diluted with water like most are.

As for physical effects, I haven't seen any difference between the two, aside from the VG having a bit sweeter taste and consequently making my liquids more enjoyable.
