So I was a 25 year 1 pad smoker. I was diagnosed with lupus 3 years ago and have been told ever since I desperately need to quit smoking. Needless to say..I ignored my doctors as I just could not give them up. Thanks to my brother Rev67...who has taught me the ways of vaping...I can say I don't ever want to smoke analogs again! I am loving my reo grand and BB more than I ever loved my newports! I tip my hat to all of you. Even though I am a n00b..I have read countless posts and thank all of you for your contributions to all of us beginners.

If you have got a support person, solid equipment, and a juice you like then you are well on your way. I was one of the ones that just started vaping and quit smoking without a hitch. Some struggle some don't but I'm pretty sure most that stick with it and find what they like seem to become quitters.

Nice, congrats man! 3 days is a huge step (no sarcasm at all, i'm being honest) the first 2 weeks were really rough for me personally. But all-in-all it took me over a month to tell myself im done smoking and just vape, i had to find that right flavor/amount of vapor.
Now it's just amazing, no thoughts of going back anytime soon.
For awhile i couldn't see myself without smoking, my life revolved around it but now its like ... i was wasting so much damn time with it.

Congrats man, any questions at all we are all here to help! This is a great community with amazing people, welcome aboard!

Every day without an analog is a great day, and is something to be proud. This is a hard journey, but it is so much easier when vaping.

Just stay focused on the goal, and ask questions. ECF is a great community filled with wonderful, helpful people who have all traveled this very same road you are on.

Last but not least, no matter what, Just Vape.

Congrats! Having been a smoker for 20+ years I found it amazingly easy to go to ecigs and was happily 'vaping' away for 3 months without even the urge for a 'real ...' unfortunately I've just moved to Bangkok and can't get shipped what I was using so need a new setup and supply! I can't believe some countries are banning ecigs... it makes NO sense!

Congrats!

My mum also has Lupus, and was a heavy roll-your-own smoker.

She has been off cigs for about 4 months now, using the quick mist spray. She is now hooked on that and goes through 2 a week. I might get her to switch to vaping. Her cessation sessions have ended, and she's using dads supply as getting decided to go cold turkey. She can't afford to pay £30 a week on sprays. So vaping may be good for her. She too missed the hand to mouth thing.

Sorry, went off on a tangent there :D
