I think my MV batteries didn't last because they constantly needed to be adjusted. They lasted about 3 months or so and both died within a couple weeks of each other. Even so, you figure each battery cost me about $5 a month so I'm not complaining really.

Yeah they must have had a batch with a out of tolerance connector (my guess is too tall)..they had a bunch of them in the bargain bin..that's the smok Tech 900mAh eGo's I have I paid $9.99 each for them..are those the ones you had that failed?

It was posted to file them down 0.5mm or pull the pins up..I filed 2 of them and left the 3rd..all 3 I have to pull the pin up slightly on occasion but not one has failed yet..I kind of wish one would so I can have an excuse to tear it apart and see how it "ticks" lmao..I like taking things apart I have been taking things apart since I was a small child and I can usually put them back together...

Pretty good deal..if I needed batteries I might buy some..they don't state there shipping it is posted as variable for 1st class and $5.95 priority..shipping always worry's me when rates are not listed clearly because some sites make there money by charging high shipping...

I got the battery and a couple boxes of cartos and shipping was $3.95

Vapor God has Riva 1100 mah batteries

Riva 510 1100mAh Battery

Same price~!

Nice..good deal then..you're tempting me with low prices..have to resist trying to keep my costs down :D Just kidding about not being able to resist I am trying to keep my costs down. I probably won't need any batteries or anything for a couple of months at least :)

lots of advice regarding batteries..my experience on my PV..i have 4 PV setup to use in rotation..most of my atomizers are LR(best vapor and warm vape)..LR from 1.5 to 2 ohms,i use..depending on yr kind of batteries U use..i find my 510-T on 2 ohms LR is fine but not 1.5 ohms..any batteries over 650 mAh is good for 1.7-2 ohms but over 900 mAh from 1.5 ohms to 2 is fine..batteries life shortened when U use LR cartomizer or atomizer..i found even my 1100 mAh batteries will only last 200-250 charges around 5-6 months usage but some might last 8 months or more...but the power is depleted over time and i retired any batteries over that period..so far i had 2 prematured batteries i had to scraped..one i sat on it and broke the battery terminal with the wire ripped off..the other i misused as i cleaned the flaking black matt paint off my battery by soaking in Isopropyl Alcohol..Batteries with TLC(tender loving care) will last the cycle of (300)recharges..so have backups ready in case..regards mafig

I got them with the DCC kit when that first came out. I think it was more of a carto issue than a battery issue. I knew at the time I probably should have just gotten the adaptor, but I got cheap!

That is a good deal on those 1100mAh Batts for $13, I have about 20 of them or I would buy a pair. Remember also, if an LR Atty happens to be really LR LIKE 1.4 and the resistance Drops to say 1.1-1.2 it can fry a Batt in a flash at times.
I wonder what the resistance is on the smokymizer c3's? That is a good deal on the 1100mAh batteries. Where do you see that?

Depends on what resistance you bought could be from 2 to 3ohms (what I usually see listed) swedishfish linked 2 different 1100mAh eGo's in this thread just scroll up for one and go back a page for the other ;)

Thanks for those guidelines. I'll keep that in mind when getting the new parts.

Were they the black ones that said Smok on them? They must have had 300-400 of these listed for $9.99 as blems..they sold like hotcakes at that price..I bought one and I saw the numbers dropping so fast they were almost gone so I bought 2 more a couple weeks later..later that week they were out...

It worked nice until that sudden end :) It sounds like the bigger batteries can stand up to them. Maybe I'll just run it on one of the new batteries, and use the regular atomizer on the other, so that if it doesn't work, I'll only lose one.

Is that what your using?

That's what killed your battery. They're notorious for that.

To me it sounds like they're shorting out batteries.

I just read through this entire thread and about 2 pages in I was thinking it was a bad carto or atty that killed em.

That is a real bummer.

Maybe instead of looking into new ego batteries you should look into a big battery mod like the omega or something similiar...maybe even the lava tube or if you can afford it the provari. If you would have put that less than one ohm smokeymizer on either instead of frying your battery it would have cut it off and not let you vape it.

I'm sorry about your loss :(

Hopefully you still have something to vape on.

That's a good idea. We're looking into some other brands and those big batteries. The provari looks great but is a budget buster. But maybe some of the others...
