I'm new-ish to this (not much over a month) so this is probably old hat to all the more experienced members but:

1) Drawing liquid and puffing it straight out pipe-style until you're surrounded by a cloud of vapour is a reasonably effective (but very lazy and expensive in juice) way to temporarily restore the taste and vapour of an atomizer. Also vaguely satisfying in a "take THAT environment" sort of fashion.

2) I had a tank that was a little bit broken in that the round bit at the bottom wouldn't pop out. Not being one to waste 0.5c, I drilled a hole in the bottom with a compass and rammed it on anyway. For a little while, until the round tab got a little bit worn and came out, the taste and vapour was somewhat better than normal. Better seal = slight improvement...some experimentation is required.

3) Attys from different suppliers seem to be noticeably different in quality/effectiveness. I got 2 with a kit from TW and one was better than the other. Then the Heaven Gifts spares arrived and -while one was better than the other again- they both blew the TW ones away. It's possible that there's a rapid evolution in models and I got an older model from TW...that's the only theory that comes to mind, anyway.

And the question: What's best for stage II in atomisers for an eGo-T? A giantomizer or the LR attys? Has anyone tried both? What's the cost/time till it explodes ratio for both?
Thanks.

I used the tank system for a month... and was quite happy with it, my wife also still uses the tank.

Nice thing about the eGo/Riva is that you are not stuck, you can try VERY different things for not a lot of money.

I tried a LR cylinder (type B ) atomizer and Mega ( type B ) cartridge and that was the end of the tank for me.

That tank does have its advantages, my wife prefers it so far. But I got spoiled on the LR mega atomizer and cartridge and it cost me all of about $8 for the atty and $6 for a pack of 10 cartridges.

not only did it work better, but is cheaper. ( it too also has some issues, the cartridge fills up with about 2.5 ml of fluid, but I don’t ever think you actually vape all that fluid, as I keep topping it off after about 1ml... but for the consistent hits and flavor I am getting it is worth it to me. )

I'm definitely confused now. We have:
Giantomizers
LR atties type A (?)
LR cylinder (type B ) atomizer and Mega ( type B ) cartridge (one option or two?)
Boge LR cartos and Riva EM atties
CE2 XL cartos and Riva EM atties
Joyetech 510 cartomizers and although they are a pain to fill (need a syringe)(I can probably discount this one - someone capable of soldering themself to their own keyboard doesn't need to be habitually messing around with syringes full of poisonous stuff)
