Ok, I entered the vaping world back in August. Me quitting analog smoking was a priority, the money was not a factor. Since my abandonment of Marlboro, I have gone through the following e-Cig set ups.

1. Jessy X and Jessy M: This was what got me into it, but honestly I don't think they produced great flavor.
2. Custom Mod Boxes (VV from Madvapes): batteries get used up and take forever to charge, great flavor though!
3. Alloy XL: This was a pricey unit, and I got the max voltage (6 volts), the unit is awesome, the problem is I hate the taste of everything when vaped through a cartomizer, its just gross.
------------------------------------
I am looking for something that is stronger than the standard 3.7 voltage, I don't care about VV as I know what I want.. something between 4.2 - 5. I want to drip as the cartomizer's make all juice taste like .... (to my experience). I was thinking about the ProVari.

What I am asking for is advice, what should I go with next. I went through the "best e-cigs" listing which was a good read but I am not new to this. I gave up smoking 3 months ago and ended a 20+ year habit. I know I can not (will not) go back but thus far, I am not fully satisfied with my e-cigs.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Have you tried LR cartomizers on the 3.7 and HR cartos on your 6 volt? The appropriate resistance is important to the vape and the taste. I love cartos and get plenty of flavor. It sounds to me like you want a longer battery life (probably need something with an 18650 battery single or double setup). I too have been vaping for 3 months and am only on my 2nd device so I am sure others will come along with more experience about high voltage items. I found my sweet spot on a 3.7 with a LR carto.

You aren't likely to get a device to produce that range of volts unless you are using a vv device but are you sure you are ready for a Provari? If you are positive that your using the cartos correctly you should be getting great flavor but the best flavor imo comes from using the rebuildable attys where there is nothing standing between you and the jooz!
It sounds like you just haven't found the right set up altogether perhaps.
Try using a good bottom feeder like the Vapage or any of the higher end wooden box mods which offer vv.
Use those with a low resistance atty or carto and you should be golden!

If you wanna drip at 5V. Then a GLV2 would be your best choice since it's a regulated 5V mod. Another thing to think about is getting a quality cartomizer/atomizer. 2.5 and 3 ohms would be the best for 5V vaping. I would highly recommend you get a SR Boge carto, short DCC, or a HR Cisco 306 for dripping. You should be set.

If you want something that won't limit you from trying out different voltages then a Provari would be great. Only mentioning that since I seen that was something that you were looking for. Personally, I like bottom feeder mods such as a REO Grand that is also capable of being vaped at 4.8 volts with a Nihm battery. Takes the hassle out of dripping and allows you to carry around 6ml of juice in the bottle. Which makes it a very convenient mod which is also durable since it's made from aircraft aluminum and assembled by hand.

EDIT: OVERALL, you should really take some more time to research different mods. Make sure you know what you like with the mods you have now.

Awesome, the problems I have had is that I order, pay, get my item, scratch my head about how to work it, figure something out in frustration. I found a place to order the bottom feeder Vapage but am having problems finding REO Grand. If I continue to use my 6v, which cartys should I use? and how much liquid do I put in it on load and refills?

Well, the Vmod isn't a bottom feeder at all. It can be known as a gravity feeder. Which feeds completely differently from a bottom feeder like a REO Grand. If you want to research/more info about the REO Grand. Then here's some threads you should take a look at:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/195878-so-you-going-order-reo-process.html

There are going to be some Grands released on Thanksgiving day. You can click on the notify me button after you've registered for the one you want:

If you want to continue to use 6V then a 3 ohm SR Boge carto will work fine on them. A standard sized carto only takes 25 drops and should be topped off when you feel that the taste has decreased a little bit. About 5 drops should be sufficient. If it takes 10 drops then you waited to long. An XL carto will take 45 drops. Let them sit for 20 - 30 minutes to ensure that the juice has fully seeped into the filler material.

Forgot, after you top it off. Let it sit for a few minutes to let it spread throughout the filler material. At the same time, it lets the "diapers" (what's wrapped around the coils) time to get wet again. This will prevent your carto from getting burnt.

Furthermore, a break every 5-10 hits will also help with the burning issue because of what I had just mentioned.

    in a cave, eh?
Well, if you already have a VV where you can crank the voltage up to juice-burning levels, there really isn't too much of anywhere to go. A new mod would just either just look better, feel better in your hand or keep a good supply of juice handy.

You might just want to play around with different flavours of juice. Have you tried any of the dessert flavours like Blueberry Pancake?

    For good juice flavours, you might try: BackwoodsBrew.com, Boba's Bounty AveJuice.com, TastyVapor.us, GourmetVapour.com, VermillionRiver.com, MsTsBakery.com, etc.

As for cartomizers, you might be interested in CE2s or a MAP tank. You'll want to get a syringe to fill them up. But they won't hit quite as strong as direct dripping. MadVapes has a Drip On Demand kit that'll save you from dripping every 3 puffs or so. Or, if you'd like something a little classier-looking, you might consider a VapeMate from SuperTManufacturing (you can squonk a bottle with your vaping hand one-handed every 3 puffs or so instead of tying up your other hand).

If your cartomizers taste bad because you're burning them up, you might still have some luck with a tank cartomizer. MadVapes has a good deal on them. If the problem isn't a bad burning taste, forget I mentioned them. :)

If you still want a Provari, might I suggest a Lava Tube from VolcanoEcigs, instead? Functionally, they're pretty similar, but the Lava Tube is cheaper and a little less awkward with several buttons to manage all of the functions instead of just one.

You might like 801 atomizers to get more flavour out of your juice. They actually work better at lower voltage settings, i.e. 3.2 volts. The threads are non-standard, as is the diameter of the atty, so you would need a 510->801 connection adapter and an 801 drip tip to go with it.

    Good luck.

Thank you all for your input, I have placed my order for the ProVari and will wait anxiously.

Good choice on the provari you will like it. I am glad I jumped on the provari 3 weeks in. If I didn't I am not sure I would still be vaping. The ego batteries just didn't cut it for me I like between 4.2 and 5v. My only issue now is I get tired of juices quickly. I have started to vape unflavored nic juice more often to give my taste buds a chance to recover from being bombarded with so many flavors. I do get those burnt out day's but I get through them as you will
