Ok, so I have been cigarette free for about 3 months now, and think I'm ready for the next phase.

I started with the cigarette size kits (blu, prosmoke), then moved up to the Ego type e-cigs, and finally the Provari. When I got the Provari, I was still smoking a couple of cigarettes a day, slowly cutting down from 2 to 3 packs a day over a period of about 4 or 5 months. I needed a better and more consistant hit to make up for the cigarettes, and the Provari was the final straw that allowed me to finally not smoke any more cigarettes because of it's consistancy throughout the charge of the battery, and being able to jack the voltage up to get the hit I needed.

I am at the poiint now that I don't remember exactly how long it has been since I have smoked a cigarette. I think it's been about 3 months now. I could sit down and figure it out, but the fact that I don't remember any more off the top ot my head tells me that I am not thinking about ig enough to remember, and may be at the point where I can start the next phase in quiting smoking.

My plan is to get another cigarette sized e-cig, and start weening myself off of the Provari, and on to the mini e-cigs. I picked up the blu kit at Walgreens, but it just ain't cutting it. I forgot how quick the batteries drain on these things. I did some research and ordered a Smoov kit. It has 2 320mah batteries that are a regulated 3.7 volts, which means consitancy in the hit throughout the charge. They also have blank cartomizers that are fairly affordable.

I ordered the white with the cartomizers that look like a real cigarette filter.

I loved the mini e-cigs, because they reminded me of smoking a real cigarette, but they just did not give me enough to quit, so I had to move up to something that could. Now that I am past that obstical, I can start working toward the cigarette size e-cigs, and eventually ween myself off of e-cigs as well.

I don't think e-cigs are that harmfull compared to smoking, and if I never get off the e-cigs, I don't think it would be that big of a deal, but It would be nice not to need anything at all...:)

Anyway, thats my goal, and I'm sticking to it...LOL

Nice! I hope you stick with it and get to that goal of yours.

I know I definitely won't quit ecigs as I've spent enough money on them and enjoy them enough to keep going until some study shows real health risks, but I definitely understand the want to be off the dependency entirely. Could always go to 0mg nic if you like vaping but want off the nicotine, just a thought.

I hope you reach your goal as well. I'm a little over 2 months cig free. I feel into the same steps as you, and many others. Bought small e cig that was same size as a real one. Moved on to ego-c and now waiting on my provari. Why couldn't someone have just told me up front, look don't buy a kit with crap cartridges, just go straight for the provari or a device similar and get cartos/tanks and a dripping atty!
