Been vaping 3 months and still can't taste the e juice, anybody else have this problem ? Started with a cheapy e-cig and could somewhat taste it, then bought a kgo and was able to basically taste one bottle of juice I had and now nothing. Still going to stick with it as it's the first and only thing that has gotten me to stop smoking. I've done the Chantix, wellbutrin, gum and cold turkey with less than spectacular results plus the fact no one could stand to be around me when quitting. Thinking about going to a provari mini in the next few days and hoping it will help with the no taste issue I seem to be having.

Are you still smoking? Had to ask because smoking will kill most of the taste and flavor of vaping. The juices are designed by people who have quit and tailored the juice to their own taste buds. When I was smoking and vaping, I felt the same way. Once I quit completely and only vaped, the flavor began to develop a life of its own. I began to see what people were talking about when they described a juice as mild tobacco with a caramel undertone and a hint of spice. What? I didn't get that while I was doing both and I thought they were pulling my leg.

That, and dehydration could be the problem. Drinks lots of water when you vape. The PG content of the juice will dry out your mouth and kill your taste buds.

Using boges and smoktechs both LR, and have gotten juice from about 6 different places. Still not smoking, last one I had was about 2 1/2 months ago, smoked half of it...tasted like crap so I threw it on the ground, steeped on it and haven"t had one since. I've tried dripping with no difference and have even bought the stuff to DIY juice and still nothing. And just like ingerri said "not going to stop me though".

Hello Nightflight, does regular food have flavor to you or is it just vaping that has no flavor?

In other words have you completely lost the ability to taste anything or is it only the vaping that you can't taste?

Just Vaping for some reason, but I would have to blame it on the smoking.....45 years will do a little damage. Every once in a while I will get a little taste of something seems to be mainly if I switch between flavors. Bubblegum is what comes the closest to having any taste to me.

Well that is just plain old peculiar.

When I get a real bad cold and my nose is plugged I have noticed that I can't taste anything.

If you open up a bottle of vapor that is supposed to be something strawberry flavored can you at least smell the strawberry flavor?

It seems to me if you can taste food you outta also be tasting the juice you are using too. And if you can smell the flavor in your juices then you outta be tasting them also.

I even remember in science class we would have to eat something like an apple while blindfolded while smelling a banana and usually the person that was blindfolded would think they were eating a banana.

Don't spend the money on a Provari yet. Get the taste sorted out first.
Try swishing out with some mouthwash. Not the weak stuff. Some of the green Listerine. Again, drink lots of water throughout the day. Try a tongue scraper or scaler. Whatever it's called. It will help scrape any dead cells or buildup off of your tongue and open up your taste buds a little (at least it did for me). Do a two stage draw. Pull into your mouth, then suck the vapor into your lungs. When you exhale, blow out your mouth and nose at the same time. Smell has a lot do do with taste and this will help stimulate your sense of taste. Try to use a fruity flavor and then switch to a strong tobacco flavor...or vice versa. Anything to "trick up" your tongue.

I hope one or all of these little tips help. It's different things I had to try for a while. Still do from time to time.

I usually do the 2 draw deal anyway, wasn't buying the provari to fix the no taste issue. I am going to buy it for the quality and vv aspect, still going to vape whether I can taste it or not. I have like 7 cartons of analogs laying around and have absolutely no plans of using them, so figure if it helps me quit then good equipment should be in the equation as well.
