Quit smoking 3 months ago and started vaping. I didn't want to quit but I was starting to have health problems. I liked smoking. I smoked for 40 years. My lungs started to hurt about a year ago especially the right lung. I ignored it and kept telling myself it would get better. Next I started getting neck and shoulder pain and then it traveled under my arms. (swelling) Then the pain traveled down my arms into my fingers. I know, very stupid to let things go that far but thats how much I loved smoking. At this point I'm afraid that I may have waited too long to quit. Feeling desperate to try and save myself. I start practicing Qi Gong excersises twice daily and healing meditation sessions. This seemed to help a bit and I was cutting back on smoking a little. Crazy crazy. I started taking hemp oil and Turmeric root extract and continued my Qi Gong and meditations. It was helping. Finally 3 months ago on a Friday morning at 6am I was standing on the front deck drinking my coffee and having that morning cigarette. As I took the last drag and put it out I finally said to myself that I was done smoking. I had seen adds on the internet regarding vaporizers and ejuice. I ordered a vape pen and ejuice the day I quit. While waiting for my order I tried the e-cigs. A few days later my Vape pen was delivered. I now absolutely love vaping. Token on the RY4 right now. Better yet all the symptoms I was experienceing are gone. I slowly started recovering. I feel fantastic! Better than I have in years. I can't wait to see how I'm feeling in another 3 months without cigarettes. Vapeing seems to fit in very well with a healthy life style and I am no longer craving cigarettes. Thats my story. Cheers to good vaping, Qi Gong and meditating. Peace out. :2cool:

Welcome to ECF!

Hope you will take a look at some better equipment than the vape pens, but there's no rush. Whatever works for you is great!

I think you will find us a friendly group. I am resisting the urge to ask you to see a doctor, since you seem to have a different approach to these things. Apparently I am not resisting that urge as well as I thought! ;-)

Cheers and good health!
