I decided to post 3 questions which aren't really related to eachother in 1 topic so I don't have to post 3 different topics and flood the forums.
I bought the MVP 3.0 Pro a few days ago. The main reason I went with it was due to the built in charging cable. I have a Galaxy S3. I have an app that tells me how much current my phone is getting. The max charge current is 1AH(AMP HOURS). The MVP 3.0 built in cord produces half that. I believe it was 480 mAH. If I plug in a 1AH cord in to the usb port in to the MVP 3.0 it charges just fine. I just didn't want to carry a spare cord with me, so this was kind of a let down.Besides the cord issue, the device is great. This is more of a comment than a question.
I personally don't like blowing big clouds around people. I came across temp control mods, the benefits seem great. I am considering purchasing one. At home, around close friends, or alone, I like blowing big clouds. I am hoping a temp control mod can meet my requirments. I am looking for something that is flexible. Turn it down when I am out in public and turn it up when I am with friends/home/alone. I am vaping now at 17.5W on a 2.0ohm coil. This is 3amps. I looked in to the TCT tanks and the ohms is 0.15ohm. To get 3amps(what i like vaping at) I need 1.35 watts with a 0.15ohm coil. I am almost positive the mods don't go that low... I am thinking maybe it doesn't work like that. I am thinking If I get a temp control mod I can find it where i like vaping at and turn it up or down based on the situation. Is this ok? Or are they specifically designed for sub ohm vaping?
With all that said, I am thinking just sticking with my set up as is. Maybe buy a 1.2ohm coil and work with that. I am thinking that maybe 17.5W at 2ohm is a little bit too much for me. I have been vaping around this wattage for a day or 2 and it's a bit more than what i am used to. I was vaping at 11amps(had mvp 2.0) with a 2.0 coil. I try to go back there and now it doesn't seem like enough. If I get a temp mod i might be over my head. I am just looking for recommendations....
thanks
