Thank you for reply, sorry had to run out shopping. I was using 18mg menthol(newport flavor) in the AIO. got harsh after 3 weeks. took an unintended break because of vacation and smoking freinds (drinking had nothing to do with it) lol and went back to cigs for 10 days...I got that 18 strength because the vape store suggested it to combat 1 pack a day. So wanted something fruity cause I think the menthol was keeping me wanting to smoke cigs. I got the Kangertech topbox and an extra tank 10 mg nic fruity flavor. The vape store guy put it together for me but was super busy so I did not understand all he did...Nickel plug was supplied with the tank and I have 2 extra SS, clapton and a rebuildable. I do not understand waht you all mean when you say you can only use nickel on temp setting not Wattage or how to make sure its on the correct settingNeed to know what level of nic you are vaping?
Most of us started out with 12 mg or so nic and then dropped our nic level over time.
With the vape gear now though maybe 6 mg nic if you vape much might work since the clouds/amount of vapor is much more than it was on the Clearomizers and such which is what many of us started on.
Been smoke free for over 1.5 years now.

At least one will be nickle (ni) which can only be used in Temperature control mode (TC). This is what I am trying to figure out what it means. I can hit the start button 3 times and see temp settings for each coil I have it on nickel at 300 degrees, but the led readout always shows 39w with an Omh reading ? of .262 and numbers under that are 000 Thanks....Usually the topbox comes with 3 coils (or so) to let you start to choose what's best for you. At least one will be nickle (ni) which can only be used in Temperature control mode (TC). Others may be the newer stainless steel (ss) coils that can be used in wattage or tc mode. Some could be kanthal which is wattage only. Still others may be clapton coils which are two wires twisted together. Usually the coil heads will have information stamped on the side so you can tell what's what.
The coils come anywhere from .015 ohm to 1.5 ohm. You also may have an rba head which allows you to build your own coils.
So, bottom line, there are a bunch of choices that you can explore until you find what's right for you. Good luck.
sorry do not understand what you mean when you say its not a low vapor ecig? I was using 18mg tobacco menthol flavor in it, started getting harsh tasting, replaced coil but after 2 more day trying still tasted harsh, thought maybe I burned coil but new coil still tastes sameThe AIO is not a low vapor ecig. Either increase your nicotine or give it more time. 3 weeks is early days.
In regard to coils on your toptank, I'd recommend sticking with 0.5.
thanks searched for Member brother Bob but did not see anything. I know its hard in the beginning, but whats doing me in I don't think i am/was getting enough nic using the A10 enough times a day. first 2 two weeks. I understand trying but when you can hardly pull of unit and not getting much I think I am doing something wrong, so that's why i bought kangertech and seem to be having same issues with it also, pops and cracks when pulling and scares me, can t seem to take into lungs without coughing. Its all scary and when I have been to vape store (3 times so far) 3/4 different people have waited on us and everyone has there own scenarios and seems to be giving you their experiences instead of what should be happeining with the units, so I can figure out how to use it and get my OWN experience. Sorry I think I need a cig...lolLook up Brother Bob & read supplied links for new vapers.
In the beginning the jargon is Trying..
Usually, people start with an e-cig that doesn't actually make much vapor. Yours makes plenty. In fact if you are using 18mg liquid you are getting a lot more nicotine than most e-cigs. I guess you need to give it time. Quitting smoking requires effort for most new vapers. I feel sure you are matching your nicotine, it's the other things in smoke that don't help you at this stage.sorry do not understand what you mean when you say its not a low vapor ecig?
DO NOT use the .15 Nickel coil if you are not using a temperature control capable mod.Thank you for reply, sorry had to run out shopping.
