Big congratulations on Three Weeks, Anne.:banana::banana: There's three bananas for you!

It will only get easier and more comfortable from here on out. I just passed 3 months and never, ever thought I would quit smoking, and have fun, too.

Wow, time flies. Just looked at my banner, and it looks more like 4 months!

Thanks and congrats to you too Buggainok!! I'm looking forward to 4 months smoke free myself. So nice to not be held hostage by cigarettes, isn't it?!:D

So excited!!! Have been smoke free for three weeks thanks to e-cigarettes. After 30 years I really never thought I could do it without climbing the walls. I tried patches the last time and they worked but I literally wanted a cigarette every waking moment. Can't believe how stress free this has been. And fun :D

And I even have my own signature banner now! Woohoo!!!!

Congrats!! I am just about a week behind you. And I never thought after 25 yrs of smoking and not wanting to quit, I would actually be enjoying it!!! It's a wonderful thing isn't it??

Congrats! I'm 6 weeks in myself and still can't believe how easy it was for me to quit after 16 years. Now when I smell cigs I almost throw up. These have truly been a blessing, and I'm just getting started! Good luck and stick with it.

Congratulations to you too wink_82! I agree...e-cigs are a blessing :)

YAY! I'm finding vaping has become a new obsession.... Ooooh, look, shiny new mod.... What's that, you're vaping "straw-nana-mango-mint" and it tastes awesome??? I. Must. Have. :D

Congrats and vape on!

LOL...DingerCPA  I hear ya! Doesn't help that I have OCD anyway. Gotta try all the ejuices! My husbands that way about the tanks and batteries. For the time being I think we're eating up what we would have saved by not smoking because we can't stop trying all the new stuff  But I don't feel too bad about it ;)

Congrats to you too :D

Fellow flavor junkies! No need to feel bad about the investment. We have shiny gear, tasty liquids, and better health to show for it - instead of a pile of ash, cig butts, stinkyness, and coughing fits!

I remember your husband's post! You two have an inspiring story. :) And your pic looks like a celebrity, though I can't remember her name. If that's you, then you look famous! ;)

Awww...never had anyone tell me I looked like a celebrity. Could just give you a big hug :)

Yeah, my husband came home one day with an ecig. I watched him to see if it worked for him cause he'd smoked 40 years, 3 packs a day. When I saw that he was doing so well, I decided to give it a try. We'd told each other that we'd support the other one. Too hard to quit if you're not both doing it. So here we are...four weeks out and still smoke free!!!!

We've lost our smokers coughs, don't cough when we laugh, can smell and taste things now, actually have more energy. And we spend the savings on vaping...lmao. We've had SO much fun finding new vapor shops around the state, ordering shiny new toys from online stores, and converting friends who happen to ask "do those things actually work?"

And I would surely take that hug! :) I love your story - and that is fantastic that you are already seeing health improvements. It's a little hard to believe, isn't it? Just wonderful. I love it so much more than I ever did smoking. I'm evangelizing too. I know many old-timer types who've smoked all their lives though. Hard to get them on board, but at least they are curious! ;)

A guy at work is sort of down on vaping.. Says he tried it and it didn't work. I tried to explain that it really depends on your gear and juice. He wasnt sold and just said it wasn't like hitting a cigg. I said you're right. it's better in all ways except quick absorption of nicotine and it's not that hard to Get over that hump. But he was still dubious (love that word). An ex gf was a hard sell too. Took a trip to b&m to convince her. I'm a good salesman but people can be hard to let HP of habits/addictions.
