3 Weeks Today!

Today I hit the three week mark in vaping and I'm psyched! Overall, I am extremely happy with vaping. I am very surprised at how easy it has been to stop smoking, after over 20 years. I'm amazed at how quickly I have switched into thinking I am a "non-smoker". Even though I have had a few analogs in the past few weeks, I don't feel any danger of going back.

Now, the coolest thing about today is the amount of money I have saved. As of today, all the money I have not spent on analogs is greater than all the money I have spent on e-cigs, juice and accessories. And - since I'm am well stocked - every day from here to my next order is all saving money! Yes!

My wife is happy, my daughter is relieved and I finally feel like I have the tobacco monkey off my damned back. For the first time, I can see a life without smoking.

I wouldn't have been able to do this without ecf and the great advice & insights I've found here. So this is my great big, mushy THANK YOU to all of you vapers. I am eternally grateful!

Cheers!

Congrats butchrobotpope!

I understand exactly what you're saying; just today, I was thinking.. wow, I am a non-smoker.. and I'm fine!!! no stress, I feel clean, and I wanna brush my teeth and have a clean breath all the time!!

<-- bought a new toothbrush, listerine strips, and whitening products last night! :D

Are you experiencing any "good to see" withdrawl symptoms?

Ooh, new toothbrush - good idea!

I had a bunch of the typical physical reactions people have mentioned when they stop smoking; from my lungs cleaning up, my digestive system in knots, insomnia, cramps, etc. They've all gotten better, of course. Since I'm still vaping nicotine, I haven't gone through the elements of total withdrawl though.

It's funny: the smell of cigarette smoke is compelling to me, but actually smoking one makes me sick now. Usually, when I get the itch to have an analog, I can vape my way past it, but sometimes I can't. I am confident that this too shall pass... And I still consider myself a non-smoker!

Damn, ain't it great? My wife and I found the change to ecigs that easy also. Stopped analogs the same day we started vaping. Haven't wanted or had one since July 1. I'd smoked for over 40 years.
Welcome aboard!

Wow! 40 years and stopped on a dime. I salute you, sir! Congrats!
