like i said i was satisfied with the amount of vapor and Th that the aerotank produced just not the flavor..

Well since you're mixing your own liquid; maybe you should talk about it in the diy liquid forum.
I think you said something about 8 hours steeping; which sounded really short to me; but I don't know much about steeping.

No vapor + coughing has always meant, for me, that the coil wasn't positioned well with respect to the air intake.

How far above the airhole do you have the coil? 1mm, 5mm? I personally get a smoother vape with the coil very close to the hole (~1mm). But I've never used a lemo, only a kayfun and magma with similar airflows.

Yea that is a whole other discussion .... Flavor vendor, Flavor type, %s PG / VG Vendor all come into play with DIY and not tasting right or good

also i have been DIYing liquid for over a year.. so i know its not the liquid i am making as i am a perfectionist in the art of juice making lol :)

this might sound crazy but i changed the wide bore drip tip on my lemo for the one that i had on my aerotank v2 and its made it tolerable why is this? i even turned the wattage from 10 which i was vaping before to 20 watts!!! still not as much throat hit as the wide bore on 10... this is puzzling i thought the wider the bore of the drip tip the smoother the vape? this is the drip tip i had on my aerotank http://signaturetips.com/stainless-steel/drip-tip-st024-stainless-steel.html

right.. i made a 2.2ohm 2.5mm ID coil with 30 gauge kanthal and now i am in vaping heaven! the throat hit is now perfect vaping at 12 watts and the flavour is spot on.. so in my opinion 30 gauge kanthal has less throat hit as it is more subtle and does not give you that thump in your throat like the 26-28 gauge does.. my advice if your struggling with throat hit is

1. change your drip tip
2. buy 30 gauge kanthal
3. put coil as close to airhole as possible
4. use ... organic cotton
5.make your coil between 2 and 2.5 ohms
6.open up your airflow

cheers for all the reply's but this myth has been busted :)
