I just passed my 30 day marker, as well as making it into the black for a moment,.. then I ordered more attys and a couple of adapters. Might break even again right about the time I need to order juice.

Oh well, its more fun and healthier even if its not being cheaper yet.

(And I have to admit I enjoy messing with the attys and carts. It give me something to keep my hands busy.)

So far my opinions are as follows:

The Joye 510 is a great piece of equipment, with the downside being how fast I'm tearing through attys.

I like the Carmel from AlternaSmokes better than I do the Cappuccino or the Milk Chocolate, (evidentaly since its gone and I still have some of the other two LOL).

I like the ADM better than I do the PTB mod, although I'm still experimenting with both.

I've had good experiences with:

AlternaSmokes
Litecigusa
VaporStix
ECigSupply

I've had bad experiences with:

strictlyejuice

I'm planning on ordering from:

DIY Flavor Shack, gotta try the carmel machiato!

Currently awaiting packages from:
strictlyejuice (overdue) 510 attys and maybe some menthol crystals
Ecigsupply (recieved tracking number) 2 510 attys, 1 901 atty, 1 801 atty and maybe some juice
GoodProphets (processing)1 510-901 adapter, 1 510-801 adapter

I have been vaping since 10/29/09 I am still using my original attys for my super mini DSE 103 and my 510. I rotate between two on my super mini. I clean one and use the other. If you're using a manual there is a tendency to push the button for too long and thus burn out the coil. My friends have experienced this. Some of them say an automatic battery has stretched the life of their attys due to the auto cut off. I am a gamer and prefer an auto batt since my hands must remain on the PS3 controller. I have yet to kill an atty...Vape on vapers!

Big Congrats on your 30 days!

There are more than a few people who have said they have gone through their attys rather quickly. I'm still using my original 510 attys going on 2 months now and they still work as good as they did brand new.

Are your attys failing electrically or just getting too gunked up with e-juice? There have been many tried-and-true methods of cleaning attys posted and I never added my method to the mix, but this is what I do after I notice the wick under my atty bridge is getting rather dark in color and not able to absorb very well:

I use a shot glass and half fill it with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alcohol) I get from my local Wal-Mart. I then drop my atty inside and let it sit for an hour. The reason I use rubbing alcohol is that is what I use to clean our Quadra Ionic Breeze air purifiers. It is the only thing that would quickly cut through the worst deposits on its stainless steel surfaces - especially the smoke tar and residues from cigarettes when we had smokers (like me) in the house.

After an hour in rubbing alcohol I then take out my atty and rinse it for a minute under hot tap water. I then rinse out the shot glass, fill it 3/4 full of tap water and then put it in the microwave for 15 seconds which quickly brings it to a rolling boil. I carefully remove the shot glass from the microwave and drop my atty in it and let it sit for 15 minutes. I then run my atty under hot tap water once again then blow it out with my mouth from both ends. Using a little corner of rolled-up toilet tissue I carefully blot the inside of my atty then wipe the threads good and dry. This leaves my atty with the least bit of moisture on the wick so it's not completely dry. 3 drops of my favorite e-juice to prime the atty and I'm back in business. After a few vapes the excess water is gone and I'm back in vaping heaven.

Using this procedure, my wick always comes out perfectly clean and white. Also, I'm convinced that there is no residue left from the rubbing alcohol because of my thorough rinsing with water and I taste absolutely no additional residue.

If your attys are elecrically dead then they are dead. But if they are just really dirty and gunked-up with e-juice then you may be back in business with my atty cleaning method.

Just trying to help!

I rarely have an atomizer to go bad. I have been vaping for 9 months and only have 5 that are dead. At first I would soak and clean the atomizers. The last time I did this and I had 2 of them die. Since then all I do is blow them out occasionally. There are a lot of people that do this.

Congradulations on your 30 days. Hope you continue to do good.

Congratulations on hitting the one month mark! I'm still only using the 510 as my PV and am happy enough to not think about switching to a different model or mod. I'm having very good luck with the PTB filters and make a couple up every week.

Placed a pretty big atty + bat order with Heaven Gifts before the Holidays and just received it out of customs (NO LIQUID in order).

I'm a happy vaporer!

Just hit my 32 day mark.
Using rn4081 and discovered minty menthol. Yum Yum.
Got 5 super mini atty's from Totally Wicked UK £19.99.
Smoked 20 to 30 a day for nearly 30 years, but still using original atty from e-cigs.co.uk
Super Mini + Pcc.
5 atty's still in box.
Congrats on your 30 day mark.
Smoke Bad, Vape Good.
Regards
