That sucks, I hope you're warm and comfortable while you sit it out. I don't know what the rules are here about links but google Nick Cave 15 feet of pure white snow you can feel cool and happening about it 
Im out and about now, right now I'm at my local starbucks having coffee and watching the idiots try to drive. fully plan on coming for coffee in the morning as long as the diesel starts….. however i am also thinking about putting it on the driveway and letting it run all night as well

Love this snow! A bit north of you near Detroit and we have about 12" now... Had to hit target earlier and was laughing myself silly in the car watching the folks with bald tires try to get moving from a stoplight. Subaru AWD! Gotta love it!

I moved to Iowa for a few years for graduate school. THat first winter Iowa drivers were going crazy to get a block away from and my Louisiana License plates. I was sliding less than they were. It was hillarious.

I only drive 4 wheel drive vehicles a chevrolet silverado and a jeep grand cherokee diesel. the people that plow the streets in skokie are too stupid, they leave 1 1/2 inch of crap on the streets where 4x4 is a needed item if you want to drive and get anywhere
When you get it in Illinois gets here a day or 2 latter. I have not left the house since last Tuesday. I am ready to get out tomorrow, but then back in again. I need to do a bit of shopping? Well the house is warm and the Packer game is on. (I am concerned for them)

if the diesel starts in the morning i will be out early in the morning, otherwise i need to make the frozen garage door open to get the silverado out. unless i just leave the jeep run all night and keep my useless neighbor awake which it fine with me

I don't know if I can even get out of my drive way. We don't have as much snow as you (I'm south of 80 so didn't get slammed last time) But I do have over afoot in the drive and with all the drifting I'm sure there will be more soon. I have 4ft drifts in some places.
But I am stocked on all things vaping. I could prob go at least 6 months without having to buy anything. Yet I still do all the time.

Man, that bites. Not much snow here, bur EVERYTHING is a Sheet of solid ICE!!!!
Can't even take a snow day. Can't even be one minute late! I have 4 Earned days on the line and one mistake looses all. Supposed to warm a touch and Rain over night. Fingers crossed it will bust some of this up.
