I found is easier to to just forget about it..... Now if they came with some TALLER 306 drip tips.. that'd be nice.
I'm referring to the new LR 306 attys, which i'm sure you're not using on an HV device?I have no melting issues at all, and i use my 306 at 4.3 volts quite regularly, might be different batch to batch however, and must be taken into consideration.
lol if we consider above 4.2 volts high voltage then yes.I use my lr 306 on my fistpak, not sure on the actual loaded voltage, but i presume its around 4.3ish, its more than fully charge 18650 i know that for sure.I'm referring to the new LR 306 attys, which i'm sure you're not using on an HV device?
yep thats it in a nutshellah, so you hollow out an old 510 atty, put the 306 cart in that and then trim the top off so you can fit the 510 drip tips in? Then just stick that whole thing on as the "modded" 306 drip tip?
I'm a total nub to most of this still anyways.... lol
I guess 5v+ is high voltage? and below wouldn't be considered?
I just read/heard LR atties on my 5v are big no-no's. Thought you were closer to that, pay no mind my ignorance on electronics lol
I was being a smart ... about the high voltage comment, i generally dont consider what i work with high voltage untill about 600v's. but thats me.
