lol! Also took packaging into account. These plastic bottles may be indeed semi-permeable. When multiple bottles pressed close enough together, this enabled diffusion of liquid from one bottle to the other, leveling off what was once variable filled bottles to a level plane of less liquid. Yes, I even took osmosis into account.:p

Did you account for the metric conversion and elevation?

elevation? really?

Fluid doesn't compress.... water at the bottom of the Marina Trench will occupy the same volume as that on the surface, even though the pressure of the water at the bottom is 10 thousand times that of the surface.

/I assume you were talking about the fluid.

:correction: the pressure is over 1000x, not 10 thousand.

I didn't want to say anything.....I wanted to believe that was a joke, which is why my following post was written as such.

Way to call him out!:w00t:

PS. People should really learn to utilize the smileys. They really help to let people know if your really serious.....or we can continue thinking what we initially thought!

Here is part of an email I received back from the supplier.

"All bottles of e-juices are filled by the manufacturer, not by ourselves. We must let the manufacturer do it to ensure the sanitation. Every time we get a new batch of e-juices, we select some bottles of e-juices to test the volume. We indeed found the problem before and reported to the manufacturer. We haven't found the problem with the regular bottles in the past 3 months. We just started supplying e-juice with childproof bottles and didn't notice the same problem happened again. We must report this problem to the manufacturer again and hope this problem will not happen again."

This satisfies me..that they are looking into it.

I just received my first 30ml bottle of RY4 from China. It's a little over 3/4 full. I remembered this thread from before and finally found it to make sure that I wasn't making a big deal out of nothing. I'm thinking it is something now, so I'll need to measure when I get home, which is going to be a pain. If the whole bottle is 30ml volume, then I'm probably missing about 7ml which is enough for me to take notice. If anyone's interested, I'll post my findings later.

On the plus side, I got my shipment in 9 business days using the slow shipping option. :)

Now that I think about it, the FDA guys probably took some off the top and are having a wonderful time vaping away and laughing at us all.

Maybe I'm picking straws here but if I order 30ml of juice I want 30ml..not 27ml.

China regulates nothing, except the extortion the govt reaps from its citizens. You can essentially plagiarize "War and Peace" word-for-word, submit it to a Chinese publisher and they'll copyright and publish it as your own work. They don't care and this is very old news. Not surprising they'd re-define "milliliter".

fluids do compress, that's why we use brake fluid in our break lines instead of water.

I do know the 15ml bottles I got from another supplier was not 15ml liquid. At the time I didn't think much of it.
I take it machines are filling the bottles in china. 3ml difference may not seem a lot but order 10x30ml over time or at once and thats 30ml less your getting.
I emailed the supplier in China and asked him to check into it.
I'm thinking he gets the stuff pre-filled from the factory. I tried to be very nice to him because he's been very good with service and his stuff has great prices

Not sure if we're talking about the same supplier but after your original post I made an order from eastmall and all of the bottles I received were to the neck! Earlier (in June) orders were not as full. Whether that will continue... we'll see.

I didn't want to post the name of the supplier I bought my juice from before they had a chance to respond to my problem. I sent them an email right after I opened the package because I knew it looked really short on liquid. I asked them if they had problems before or if this was normal for their bottles (this was before I measured and found out it was missing 5ml).

A day later, today, they sent me an email apologizing and that they didn't notice the problem when they sent out the liquid. They said it should be about 90% full. Anyway, without me asking, they refunded me $3.50 which is worth more than what I was missing.

I thought that this was excellent customer service. The company was Ruyan Direct/Heaven Gifts, and I heard from others here that they treated their customers well and now I can vouche for that. Their juices have been great that I've tried so far, and their shipping was surprisingly fast, not to mention the extremely low prices. I will be ordering from them again in the future.

Fluids will compress very little and yes water would work as a hydraulic fluid ( be it not as well ), but it has very little lubricating properties, promotes corrosion, and does not dissipate heat as well. THAT is why we use a fluid such as Brake fluid in our hydraulic brake systems.

I just received 20 bottles from china..............all were just to the rounded part of the bottle, (room for about 3 ml more) but all equal. So I emptied one into an older bottle and proceeded to fill the empty with 30 ml of water placed it next the new bottles and they are all 30ml (if not 31). I am sure some bottles should be filled to the top but most have room for more than the alloted amount. Same way a gas can reaches 5 gallon before the top. FWIW

I also Got in touch with Wayne at Heaven Gifts. I set him a photo of a bottle with 30ml in it and he said That the factory was the problem. The bottles I was getting were almost down to the top of the label. Anyway he refunded me $21 for 7 bottles that were short.
My next order of 9 bottles was right on the money. Wayne is great.
Also looks like HealthCabin was having the same problem. They are selling shorted bottles for $7.50.
E-Juice : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail
On a side note:Don't know whats up but it looks like the China supppliers are dropping their prices. One I saw was below $9 for 30ml. Maybe a price war..lol
With my points discount at Heavens Gifts I pay $8.50 which I feel is a really good price.
