Concerning the atty discusssion, I don't think using a 901 coil in a 510 shell is going to cut it. SLB was one of the first to knock-off the Joye 510, it's wasn't a clone by any means. From a cursory examination it seemed like all SLB did was drop their existing 901 guts into a 510 shell. The ohms were about the same and they both had that infamous SLB washer. They certainly did not perform the same.

Anyone experimenting with atty making quickly realizes that air flow; the how, from where and how much is a major component of how they perform. That 901 side hole changes all of the above.

I think you're right. We will soon find out how a LR306 performs inside a 901 shell.
