35A battery

I ordered a SXmini SL class with the sx485j chip and it recommends a 35a battery. I only use .15ohm coils at 60 watts so I should be good with a samsung 18650-35E right? Going to buy 21700 batteries once these start losing their charge because I just got them recently..

NO! The 18650-35E is only an 8A battery! For 60 watts, you want a 20A battery minimum.

60 watts would draw roughly 20 amps from the battery.

The Samsung 35E (if that is the correct model) is only a 8 amp battery. Not recommended at that power level. 20 to 25 watts max

The 35amp recommendation is so you can utilize the full 100 watt potential of the device. You can use a lower CDR battery, just operate at a lower wattage to reduce risk. To understand the max wattage your battery can handle, multiply it's CDR rating by 3. And multiply that by the amount of cells if using a multi cell device

The Samsung 35E is a poor choice for any vaping device.
It is an 8A CDR cell ----> Samsung 35E 3500mAh 18650 Bench Test Results...a so-so 8A battery

There is no such thing as a 35a CDR 18650.

Your SX mini is a single cell power device, chose accordingly.
10a = 30w per cell
15a = 45w per cell
20a = 60w per cell
25a = 75w per cell
30a = 90w per cell.

I like the samsung 30T 21700 in my SL if I'm over 50w, the 40T if under 50.

The Samsung 40T is a great cell with a 25amp CDR rating. You are good to use this cell up to 75 watts. Using it at 60 watts would be no problem at all

Putting a requirement for a 35 amp battery is a naughty 'get out of jail free' as such a battery does not exist. This of course means that if you run into any problems they can say you were not using the correct spec battery.
