Tomorrow it will have been a year since I gave up cigarettes. If nothing else, it's been an interesting journey.

I have a friend who switched to an e-cig late 2010. I, along with every other smoker we know, made fun of him for it. Fast forward a few months and I'm talking with my father, a smoker of 40+ years, about finally quitting. That was all the motivation I needed. If I could do it, he could do it. And, we did. Both of us.

Granted, I've spent more money than anyone really knows. I've bought, sold, traded, built, mixed, hell... I ordered my GGTS and UFS from France because I couldn't wait on the second runs of them to be released. We're not going to talk about how much that cost me. This isn't a bad habit any more; it's a full-blown obsession.

Regardless of how much money I've spent or what the counter says I've saved, all that matters is that I, a 17 year pack and a half a day smoker, and my father are both cigarette free, thanks to e-cigarettes and this forum. Thank you.

Bah. Write us when you get to 365.

I'm kidding. TOTALLY KIDDING. Really kidding. OK, bad joke.

Congrats on the one year!!!!!!! Whoo Hooo!!!!!!!! Glad you stuck with it.

Also, you're about to hit your 1 year anniversary with ECF and become an ECF-Veteran. See here if interested in partying about that fact (and getting your post count up to about 70/75).
