Have some nic on the way and forgot to get extra glass bottles so that I could break it down a little bit. Could I use these

50ml LDPE Dropper Bottle with Child Resist Cap

to dispense 50ml at a time while I keep the other nic in the freezer? I bought these to use for my juices but would much rather use one for the nic if it's safe.

According to some sources, anything beyond 6 weeks and you should put in amber\cobalt glass bottle. It isn't just about the nic oxidizing these LDPE bottles can allow other scents\molecules to leach in and the next thing you know you have Nic that tastes like Downey or fried chicken or stale freezer.

The way I understand it, LDPE can allow oxygen seepage which will degrade your nic over time, but it doesn't leach plasticizers into the contents like HDPE can. It's probably okay in the short term, for immediate use, but for long-term storage, you're probably better off picking up some glass.

LDPE bottles may leach plastizers into the contents if used for long term storage. But for 2 months storage it should be fine. LDPE are the clear hard glass like bottles. The bottles that will leech air through the walls are the soft squeeze bottles and those bottles don't have the plasterziser leeching problem.
