Congrats to you and your wife! I am new as well. Day 19 with no ciggies.
I vaped like a fiend the first week. My throat was so sore and my sinuses hurt like the dickens. (I thought it was allergies LOL) But those symptoms went away in a about a week.
One thing I found...
Have a strong tobacco type, with a good TH, available for those strong urges. Mine come after I eat. It seems like that isn't so much a nic need as a comfort need.
Once again congrats to you and your wife..Keep up the strong work.

Congratz!! I quit September 12. 2011. The day my mother in Law had a baseball size cancerous tumor removed from her bladder. She now faces removal of the bladder and the rest off her life with the urine bag. I know, kinda gross, but after seeing her and my father in law go through same thing I could not put my wife through the pain of it possibly happening to me.

I tried to quit analogs, became a closet smoker and then switched to mini cigars(the ones I could inhale.) Now I am 3 weeks plus and do think about analogs but Im done, no more cancer sticks for me!!
