Ok folks....just got this puppy in today! This was a prototype sample that Vapingtech recieved from the Manufacture (still not known) and then sent on to me for review purposes. This came in no type of packaging and had a bit of machine oil in the bottom well. I gave her a good cleaning when I got home and got to building! So far the build quality seems pretty damn nice! Threads are good and the o-rings aren't a PITA. This will come with the 510 adapter as mine did and YES.....she does thread right on to the Nemesis clone in Hybrid mode! WIN! I set up a dual 28 gauge micro coil @ .8ohm and she is performing NICELY! I have only used the largest air hole settings so far(it's how I roll) And it's plenty for me. The up and down suction is a little wonky when the juice well is completely filled....but it evens out as the liquid depletes. The auto dripper function works well over all though! Gonna maybe film a first impressions video on it tomorrow....but for now.....on to the pics!

All cleaned up

My crappy micro's...lol

Little bit of Organic cotton

On the Nemmi clone

Did they say F it on the first train the were about to stamp/etch? lol I'll chalk it up to being a proto for now :)

On the Maraxus clone

Getting DOWN!

Thanks for looking folks......i'll add more as things progress. Here's a link to the pre-order also.

I will probably get banned for this but here goes. So Twisted - we have now established a link between you and Vaping Tech and the fact that Vaping Tech are selling something that they don't currently have and only a prototype is available. Well that is all I was ever trying to say. I don't think it is worth your blowie though - I may just hop on a plane and lick your ear or something. :p

Having said that your review of the prototype is very much appreciated and I stand corrected that notwithstanding Chinese New Year these 3D RDAs could be with you in 4-6 weeks and kudos to Vaping Tech for organising a group buy at 60$ a unit.

My fear is that the pump action will suck the cotton in to the fill/drain hole. Also, if you vape the juice off the deck and don't pump it, can it be pocketed safely?

Valid concerns......

You do not stuff the chamber with cotton, many people don't realize less is more when using cotton. My wicks are just long enough to touch the deck with the pump in action meaning the fill/drain valve is clear. When in dual coil mode if you block the fill/drain valve or have it on one side you will have wicking problems with the other wick/coil. I always put the hole under one of the negative sides which seems to be working great over the last week +.

If you fill (or overfill) and don't "pump" it the atty will leak if left at an angle. This is true for any atty with too much juice in the well.

After a few builds and tanks it is perfect. Of course it is not fool proof and nothing is.

Thank god they didn't get the serial number like the real one so it can be authenticated easily. Will be interesting to see how well the clones spring and such hold up to real world use.

I personally will never buy a clone of anything made by Atmomixani as he deserves my respect.

It does have serials...lol

Yes but they look different than the "real" one. Don't take it the wrong way but I, as many others, am a purest and believe in supporting the people who bring these incredible mods/devices to market. Clone manufactures are like ambulance chasers IMHO.

From the pics you posted the finish and serial numbers look different. Last thing anyone wants to to buy a clone thinking it is authentic - the consumer should know what they are buying and pay accordingly. :2c:

thanks for the vid. it won't thread onto a 69, different threading. it is pronounced atmo-mi-hani for atmomixani.

It seems that your prototype 3D sticks when you plunge it for a recharge... what kind of o-rings are on it where the top slips into the base? They looked black, so not silicon? They need to be silicon so it doesn't stick, at least that is how the original is. Also, for the 3D proto, was it capable of dual air holes like original, or did they mess that up like they did on the Origen?

Regardless, waiting for mine. I wanted the original 3D, but one, hated the logo, and two, missed the sale every time they came available.

Thanks for the vid twisted. I've got the clone on preorder. If I find that logo REALLY disgusting, I'll whip out my chinese harbor freight clone grinder and grind that puppy off. I seen one review of this thing and the guy was apprehensive about just drilling out his airflow holes on his original. (give me a fricken break) It's a HOLE!

People with original devices are trapped into thinking about resale values - nobody willing to spend highly for a 2nd-hand product wants anything but the unaltered original.

Without a doubt!

Vaping is a hobby for many and unaltered authentic product is very important. Not only to resale value but for the spirit in which it is.
