Here it is my 3rd day of vaping, 1st day two stinkys as u all call them lol..so true! second day 2 stinkys, today no stinkys! Mornings is the hardest for me, I told myself this morning no! And I made it through my roughest time, so without vaping I wouldn't have done this:) The funniest thing is last night I kept smelling, like a wd 40 smell in my room? Well I kept looking and smelling my gear, not that so I looked around my room, and there it was a can of Wd 40 lol..I took it to garage, guess what no smell. So my smelling sense coming back in 2 days, unbelievable! So happy! So Ty u all for encouragement and positive feedback:)

Go Howie! Congrats my friend. That is a /HUGE/ step on the path to being free from cigarettes. I still won't tell you it's gonna be easy, but again, it's gonna be with it! Good luck buddy!

Ty u:) isn't the next process, my lungs will start coughing the junk stuff out? I am thinking this is coming, natural body getting rid of toxins? I could be wrong, not there yet, but haven't noticed tasting stuff better, but smelling things I never use too lol..love it! But I know from past experiences quitting long road ahead, but never tried vaping either! So I am happy for now:)

It was for me. But, your mileage may vary. Trust me, you'll find you have a whole new appreciation for your favorite food soon too! Haha.

Way to go Howie! I didn't have much of coughing and I was a 2 to 3 pack a day smoker of lights. For me the next step was 3 days after the last cig I couldn't stand the smell of bed sheets, towels, clothes, etc.. I spent an entire day cleaning and washing everything.

The sense of taste is a change that has continues to change for me 4 months later. Luckily for me I would rather vape my dessert than eat it so my snacks changed my diet to rarely exist and I have actually lost weight. Another taste issue is the flavors of vape that I enjoy. Some flavors I liked in the beginning aren't so much my favorites and others I thought I'd not like are now really good to me.

Your next step could be the affliction of "shinyitis", upgrading your vape to reward yourself or improve the vape experience. I really hit this one 2 weeks after quitting and I realized I was saving a lot of money by vape. It soon turned into "I'm spending a lot of money as my personal guarantee to stay away from the cigs." You can't put a price on the health benefits. Energy improves, sleep improves, taste, smell, cleanliness, and many more aspects of life.

Desire and determination kicks cigs "ash". You're going in the right direction and we're here if you need help.

Congrats, Howie
The return of smell is great (except on Subway).

Like you, the morning one was tough, but I made sure I still took a break, like I would if I were smoking. Make sure you have a backup rig (tank leaks all over, vape mail with replacement coils is late, smash or lose your tank or mod) unless you are using something you can get down the street.
Also, unless you spend your days on this forum learning about all the great new gear coming out every week, the next thing you have to look forward to (besides better health) is saving all that money that was going to buy cigs.

Not always, with me I did not have a period of hacking stuff up. Been vaping for over 4 months now.
