Hello all,
I have been a lurker and full time vaper for a couple of months. Thought I would pop in and introduce myself.

I was a smoker for 40+ years and haven't touched a cig since my first day of vaping. That's pretty remarkable in my book! In fact, I think I like vaping better than I ever liked smoking. Who needs that stinky tobacco smell.

My only regret is that my sense of smell is coming back and I am not liking what I smell driving down city streets. Air pollution enough to gag me and make me nauseous and sewage smells. I guess I will get used to it.
Cheers and see ya around the boards!

Gotta take the good with the bad. You'll also be able to smell flowers again, and food will start tasting better as well. Smell and taste plug straight into the memory centers in the brain, so don't be too surprised if some foods start bringing back childhood memories you didn't know you'd forgotten. Get out there and experience it!

Congrats for giving up the tobacco!

First off, Skynard rocks, second, I have over 62 flower pots in my backyard. I plant flowers every spring and I love it. This July I started vaping and quit the cigs. I was able to smell my flowers that I didn't know smelt so wonderful for the first time ever. I personally don't smell any more and everything else smells better. Gotta love it.

Two instances in my life have I said the same thing you just stated.
Time one was 3 months out from becoming vegan, I was going to a starbucks in my town where there is a little eatery and one day I could smell the scent of tuna, and steak. Anyone who has gone vegan will tell you strong smells of fish and any type of meat will make you want to heave. I had to flee from the area or it would have been anything but pretty.

The second is few days ago, since I started vaping, similar area while going to the grocery I could smell the restaurants around me and it was a cacophony made of aromas and it was nearly unbearable. It is amazing how our senses can say to us in time OH my god ... is that stench.
