man, i was hoping it was an improved tank where you could fill it from the top without having to remove the tank and wear it out.

lol. I do understand. I think that consideration is overplayed a bit - except that some people would be misplacing the sides and it may get ragged then leaks.... But for as cheap as the tanks are - if you're careful to replace the cap securely, I'm guessing you wouldn't have any problems and when you do replace the tank. Also there is some word about 'replacement caps' being available. That would be nice. I happen to have a good fine tipped bottle to fill from the hole but if I didn't have that I'd be popping the cap :)

@Kent C: you seem to have tried quite a few EgoT-specific stuff. About the tanks ..........

I'm using the blue ones and there are times when the vapor tastes like plastic especially on the LR "A" atty, which I can only assume is from the tank.
Have you tried the black ones? Somewhere I seem to have read that they are "improved" versions. The "how" part of being improved was not stated though.

Since I'm also considering the "B" type, would you say the tanks don't have that plastic taste on the vapor?

Thanks.

p.s. OP, sorry for the thread jack.

The another report of 'plasticy' (there's only been a few) ended up being burnt ejuice at the end the tank which I experienced a bit on the regular A atty/tank using a SE Riva that runs underload at 3.7v and on the A LR's even on the regular eGo - where the wattage on both case is above 6.5W - not huge but it might be the case with the ejuice at the end of a tank. I haven't experienced that symtom with either the B regular ohms or the B LR's which, so far, have been running at 1.8-1.9Ω doesn't sound like much but that and perhaps the volume of the B tank makes some difference and I don't vape until the tank is dry. That is really what causes the burn and it's frankly, easy to do because you haven't had to think about refilling for hours in some cases so it can sneak up on you, esp. if you're browsing this forum and vaping :)

I never saw anything on any construction of the the new tank other than the 'stripe' that allows you to see the ejuice. On the first black tanks (not the 'smoke' ones) they were opaque and not transparent - and while I don't have this new one - I'm assuming that most of the black is also opaque - I could be wrong but the purpose of the stripe seems apparent.

Thanks Kent. That's an excellent point about getting that plastic taste. It mostly happens when the tank is almost empty on the LR atty. For the standard atty, I get that when I draw too hard and for too long.

Am going to try the "B" std atty and see how it does but based on your (and others) feedback, it looks like it will be better.

This is where I saw the Ego-T Black tanks described as more complicated or different design -> 10pc empty black Joye eGo-T tank mega cartridges NEW! Cone shape/Type A!

Ok. Yeah, the " The black Joye eGo-T tank cartridge has more compliticated structure and higher cost than the semi-transparent Joye eGo-T tank cartridge"... could be the extra modeling needed to put the window in. I can ask Wayne next time I contact him. If it were something other than the window, I think it would be mentioned. After so many reports of the B attys doing better than the A, I asked Wayne to ask the Joye techs if there was a change and he said they said no - only in the cone shape vs. the cylinder. So I'm guessing they would have said something if there was another functional design besides the window in the B tank, although I didn't ask specifically about this tank - but it was already out.

I've had the black with the window for a couple of months now. I honestly don't remember which supplier sent them. Must have been LF or Cignot. Still using the original ones. Other than the tips being chewed a bit, they are in good shape. The black ones without the window are also clear on the tank end so you can pull them out of the atty and see how much juice is in there.

I never liked any part of my PV being see-through. I think the black looks much better. I am liking the transparent black I have for the B type, best of both worlds.
