Hey thanks, Kusha..I'll go buy some drip tips right now! I buy my type A cones from them but never really looked for the drip tips. They have cones in all the colors and you know we need to be color coordinated! I just lost my first type A atty after 3 months, so I have to say they have a pretty good lifespan...I've become a chain vapor since I started this..lol

Good to know, I was wondering how long a type A would last.

I'm on my 3rd type B cylinder atty since September 9. They seem to die with an open coil after about 3 to 4 weeks. I'm hoping that my first two were flukes. I have the cone and the cylinder attys and both yield good taste and vapor. Certain juices do make me cough with the cylinder, especially the 100% PG juices. Backwoods Brew juices are smooth through the cylinder atty and have outstanding flavor. The mix is 70%pg/30%vg and that is probably the difference.

On both the type A and the type B attys, I have found the polyfill to be the least troublesome cart filler, provided that you create a looser fitting filler than the one that comes in the cart. Some of the factory carts are packed too tight and run dry due to marginal feeding. If your atty barrel gets hot, it may be running on the dry side and that can contribute to early atty failure not to mention a vapor that makes you cough. These things like the right mix in the bowl to run efficiently.

Sorry, but I find this a little confusing. Are the mega atomizers all low resistance? Or, do they have them in the same resistance as the regular 510 atty? What is the purpose of them being bigger? I do not want a low resistance atty. But if I could get more vapor out of an atty just because it is larger, I would like to try it.

Does both Type A and Type B screw on the cone threads?

Just what is the advantage of using a mega atty? If say, you are a dripper, would dripping into a mega atty have an advantage?

If you prefer carts, is the fact that a cart for a mega atty is bigger than a regular atty just equate to holding more juice? Or, is there still som other advatnge that I can't seem to pin down?

When they were brought out it was for the carrying capacity of the unit, nothing else. Originally (in the early beginning) only type B was available. For eGo users that like the performance with the cone, these do not provide that experience. They pretty much vape like an 801. The downside (once again in the beginning) was they didn't fit anything else but the eGo batt, without modification or using a long adapter (the odd one still floats around).

The plus side, for those using type A, they had an eGo that provided an 801 type vape with longer battery life than the average penstyle 801. Another plus is the "stock" batting will not only hold the liquid in suspension but allows the liquid to wick freely. I do not drip with mine. I use it for convenience out and about.
