Before I present my question I would just like to start by saying ECF is amazing!!!! And has been a crucial part of helping me to become a full time vapor and off analogs for 6 months now and the knowledge in here is endless. Anyway I am hoping someone in here can tell me a good cig a like battery that is 510 threaded and puts out 4.2v ? I'm asking because I'm one of those people that has a hang up on the cig a like size I've been happily using v2 ex blanks with v2 batteries and I love them but someone recommended kanger esmart to me so I'm giving them a try but the problem is they are 510 thread and I find myself liking the v2 ex more still but I think that's only because my v2 batteries put out 4.2v and all my 510 ones are 3.4 or 3.7.... Now I have a bunch of these esmart a I don't want to go to waste....also before anyone says it I do have evod twist and aspire tanks for bigger vaping and I'm aware I could use the twist but I specifically want cig a like size for out and about....any help would be appreciated

Also I'm aware I can get kr808d-1 esmart for my v2 batteries as well but I bought a 5 pack already of the 510 ones and I don't want to buy more till I really get a valid test of these ones. The v2 ex are great tanks(newer model not beta) but I'm well aware of kanger a rep and they seem like better tank I just think the voltage isn't giving me good enuff hit.

Gosh, talk about Lion's den.

The only companies that 'claim' to sell fixed 4.2v cig-a-likes (or eGos) are not exactly fairly priced.

e-smart (510 or 808) is not 'rated fixed' 4.2v. Kanger (or similar) 808 might start at 4.2v but they are not going to stay there unless you use the PCC kit to keep them topped off.

I wasn't aware V2 sell 4.2v batteries, because what they charge and what they say about their products is too much for my sensibility.

To be honest, I don't believe 'permanent' 4.2v batteries exist. As I said, some companies say they do, but... this is the e-cig world we are talking about.

Mini clearos.....and to djs I don't know how valid v2s 4.2 claim is but I know no other battery gives me the hit they do it is effortless and on an automatic at that I mean I'm newer to bigger stuff but last couple weeks I got an EVOD twist that goes to 4.8v and an aspire k1 tank and my little v2 with standard size battery and the v2 ex clearo rivals it the thing consistently suprises me up against everything else I try....but don't get me wrong I would never touch there flavors lol

In the interests of science I found some old PDF files for V2 slimline/cig-a-like batteries.

They are not 4.2v regulated ('fixed'), they are the same as many others that start at 4.2v and drop to a set level. (3.7-4.2)

Now, compared to Joyetech 510 they will be more powerful. (3.3-3.7)

Kanger KR808D-1 is rated 3.6-4.2v. This makes them the same as V2. In fact, if you use a PCC kit, that's better i.m.o. :)

Just be careful with anything e-smart. They made both 808 and 510. My e-smart clearos (yes.. I bought a job lot) are all 510 so they work better on a solid 510 battery (or mod, even) than on the batteries that came in the kits branded "Gamucci".

I may just have to eat the 510 ones I guess and buy a kr808 if I really want to give the tank an honest try

Yes... just work it out to suit your needs. I bought 2 KR808 kits yesterday (bankrupt 'brand') but can't find my chargers.
KR808 should match V2. (on paper, with the same resistance mini tank).

Thanks for the help
I tried. Sorry not to be able to go further at this moment.

I found an 808 PCC kit (4 batteries and charger) in the attic and am charging one up to test it. I have a dual 510/808 ohm/battery tester from Fasttech. Should be able to lay the issue to rest.

The kits I bought yesterday are not 808 (just found out) but discusssion about them is on another forum, so irrelevant.
