I had a grandmother who used to say"if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" even as a small child I thought this a perplexingly stupid thing to say.As for those who believe we should never critisize fellow members of the vaping "community"....go get a job with hallmark.
I have recently tried a couple of flavors from 4 seasonz e juice, and would like to share my thoughts.............
Where to begin,In some ways 4 seasonz embodies one of the real down sides of this, or any industry....namely industry.In a community born of,and grew out of small independent visions, there is always those whose vision can only extend to creating an industry around cloning what works.
I think 4 seasonz is such a vision.It obviously wants to slide into the "top shelf" juice maker niche, and bite off a piece of that pie, and so it has made a studious, and robotic study of those companies who pioneered great jucies. Like say 5 pawns, and sucide bunny, and attempted to sell themselves as such a company.The diffrence is that 4 seasonz wants to sell alot of expensive juice, whereas 5 pawns and suicide bunny want to sell alot of expensive GREAT juice.
first they offer only a small number of juices, giving the idea that discriminating craftsmen have devoted themselves to the perfection of a small number of masterpieces, rather than a sweatshop of drones pounding out a 31 flavor selection of mediocre juice.....
Then there is the marketing.The bad thing about marketing a product in the U.S. is that we have been assulted with every marketing angle there is by the age of 11, so by 12 we know the real deal from the faux real deal. a study in causal indiffrence. angle.
They are not totally without merit, perhaps they are simply timid.The juice is well crafted it is not drek, but it lacks artistry,it falls back on taking flavors that have worked and tweaking them enough not to be obvious about it.
There juice Summer is a hamfisted mishmash of cloying fruit flavors, in which there is no distinction, and marriage of flavors. It could just as well have been named "Generic Fruit" you have no idea what fruits are in it and by the first half tank you have no inetrest in finding out.
Then there is Winter,or this could be named "Boba's less than bountyfull". This is an atempt to ride on the popularity of the famous juice that some vapers always have somewhere at hand.A juice that has been waxed about for years and described as.....carmel, chocolate, marshmellow,graham craker, and changes faces as it steeps, a juice that is reputed to change it's profile with each and every tanks, and all of them good.Winter is like a deer in the headlights it doesn't have any idea on which way to jump. so it simply sits there in the middle of the road until the 18 wheelers of better,bolder juices run it over. There are no highlights that jump out there is nothing on the canvass it'slike a very well played and rehearsed masterpiece being performed in a coffin. it has potential, but no verve.I really wanted to like this juice,it's right up my alley, but it was to timid.For instance suicide bunny's mothers milk....i didn't want to like it,it wasn't my cupof tea as far as the type of juice I like, but i couldn't deny it was beautifully made, and i couldn't deny it was boldy and unrepentingly created, and by the end of the first 30ml I couldn't deny it was a juice I would buy again and that i would henceforth always be trying and watching suicide bunny's offerings.I wound up liking it.
If these seasons were being sold at say 15.00 a bottle, it would be a good deal, they are well crafted, but they lack the real polish, and heart of the top shelf juices.
