I'm interested in the Revovler Elite (similar to 401, threads reversed) and the Revolver Gemini (510, I believe). Not sure which would be better for me. I currently use a DSE901 with either its default auto bat or my manual kr808d1 bat.

For me the most important thing is flavor, then comes vapor, then I guess battery life. Throat hit being lowest on my list.

I haven't gotten to try many that I wanted to yet. So far I like Vanilla, spearmint, mint, doublemint (okay just about any mint, but preferably spearmint). I really want to try butter rum, a decent cappucino, spiced rum, basically any flavors based on drinks. Those are what interest me and what I am most likely to enjoy.

Have you noticed a difference in flavor between the two? Which batt do you prefer?

I think the flavors that interest you would go better with a 510 model.
So I will recommend that to you.

Never tried the 401 but the 510s are awesome if you use the right voltage

I'm pretty sure the stock 510 batts only run at about 3.1 volts

My advice would be to get an XL KR808 batt and a cheap little $2 510>901/808 adapter. The KR808 batts actually run at 3.7 volts and around 4.2 on a full charge. That little extra .6 volts adds quite a bit of oomph to a 510 atomizer

Yeah same here - I love the 510's vapor. I mean taste isn't too different but a little more on the 401.
I use both. I find the 401 gives a bit more flavour but the 510 gives more vapor. Just depends what you feel like. I prefer the 510 because I like the vapor, but I use the 401 when my batteries are charging.

The OP said he's looking for flavor, first. TH was last on his list. Upping the volts on a 510 will just diminish the already so-so flavor. Nobody goes from a 901 to a 510 for more flavor.

I started with a 901, got a 401 and preferred it and used it for a couple months. Then I got a 510 mod and tried a few variations of voltages and batteries on a 510. Right now I'm using a 510 tornado with low resistance atty and find it to be a good sweet spot ratio of pv size/battery life/throat hit

a 401 just doesn't satisfy me anymore

Which is all irrelevant to what the OP wanted.
