401 vs 901... is it just a bigger battery?

As in my previous post, I'm looking for something with more vapor and more kick. A longer battery life would be great too. The more time I spend on this site, I see a lot of people like the 901...but what is the difference from the 401? It looks like size of battery to me but I could be wrong.
If anyone could clue me into the major difference I'd appreciate it!!
