I'll briefly give you my experience.
Started with a 510 kit using the supplied HIGH carts. It did not take, so I just went back to cigs. Decided to give it another shot and orderd some 24mg
juice and went from smoking a pack down to about 5. I was still having very mild nic fits, but instead of smoking I just taped my 510 to my face. When I really really wanted a cig I had one. After a few days no more nic fits. I slowly (over a week or so) started to cut back on the cigs. Finally got down to one. Then one day I just decided to see if I could go a whole day without a cig. It was not a problem at this point.
I still smoke cigs between classes at college, but no where else. I do not have a problem with not smoking cigs. Once I get an adapter for using karts I am going to cut out cigs during these times (with a 510 you have good and bad
vaping days, and dripping looks suspicious).
I suggest you don't think about all out quiting cigs. Slowly reduce your cig usage. It is much easier. Your body will slowly adjust to the lower nic intake you are receiving from ecigs. Basically there is no reason to go cold turkey. Why make it more stressful.
One thing that took me a week or so get used to is the slow uptake of nicotine from ecigs. For me this was the big issue. I was so used to instant gratification from a cig.
