Hey guys, so I have a pretty new 4nine at home. It's so lovely, and small and looks just great. I only wish I could use it!

Every atty I've tried on it, either auto fires all the live long day (live long day being about 5 seconds when I screw it down then realize it's crackling away in my hand) Or it won't fire at all because it doesn't make contact with the battery at all.

Autofire culprits - tug boat, tug boat v2, tobh. I've tried filing down the 510 on one of the tugboats since it's an old clone to no avail.

No fires - plume veil, patriot.

HALP! I want to use it so badly, it's so cute. Is there some trick I'm not getting here??

Do you mean you tried filing down the center pin on the 510 or the threads? What you want is an atty whose center pin extends past the threads of the 510 connection. Also what batteries are you using? If you have button top batteries, they seem to work better, as long as your 4nine has the delrin insulator around the 510 to insulate the battery connection. I just got a 4nine clone and my igo-w and orchid both work fine with it. Also check to make sure you have the switch magnets set so they repulse each other.
