Hi. Have had my 4VL kit for about a week now. I ordered a couple of extra batteries last week and got them on Friday. They were two standard auto batteries. I plugged one of them in to my wall charger that came with my 4VL Ultimate Ultimatum kit and there was a small puff of smoke from the LED end of the battery. I thought that the battery was defective so I tried the second one and the same happened. The LED blinked upon initial plugging in to the wall charger. After "charging" only the LED worked but there was no power to vape.
By this time I was getting desperate since my original two batteries I got with the 4VL UU kit were about dead too. My PCC is at work and the USB charger does not even seem to work, no lights and no recharging. I then tried one of my original kit batteries in the wall charger and it seemed to charge OK. Once I had a charged battery, I tried the remaining battery from my kit and it would not charge but there was no puff of smoke.
It looks like my charger is sketchy and 3 of my batteries no longer charge. I have contacted V4L on this but was interested if anyone else has seen this problem.
I have been reading the battery forum but since I can't post yet (< 5 posts), I though I'd try here.
