this is my first review so please send me some feedback on how i did or what i can improve on!
to start, i am about to do a review on 2 totallyvapor flavors: 24mg nuport and 24mg slammin strawberry, both 100% pg. i would rate my total experience with the company, a 3.25/5 because of the price, it was a mall kiosk (obviously before i found the forum!). the rating is higher because they have good quality liquid, very viscous, stays in your atty for a while, but the prices are outrageous and customer service is a "give me your money, ill give you your liquid, and get out" feel. not to mention they ONLY have 20ml bottles at 24 mg.
ok, so for the nuport: this was what i started with when i started vaping. i enjoyed it and still do. its very menthol like but not very tobacco, which i found was ok, but it seemed like just straight menthol, no sweet, nor cooling. this was my all day vape, the flavor was nice, very menthol and to the point, it was nice to chain vape with my morning cup of coffee, very refreshing and satisfying for the TH i would give a 4.25/5 for it is very strong, and stays in your throat throughout the whole inhale and exhale and for a second or two once your done with the drag, very nice. the vapor production was a 3.75/5, i found it to be very inconsistent regardless of your atty's state (clean, dirty, just dripped the liquid, have had the liquid in your atty until you need more..etc.) it would fluctuate between awesome and little, thus a 3.75 because for every 7-8 drags, it would produce good vapor. and as far as the flavor, i would give it a 4/5, it was exactly what i expected and enjoyed about Newports, menthol. every time. this was my all day vape for a long time. so overall, ill give nuport a 4/5.
next is the slammin' strawberry, my second flavor in the world of vaping. i bought this because i had bought a couple bottles of nuport and wanted to change things up, and also like strawberrys so hey what the hell, why not? right? wrong. to start, ill give it them the TH a rating of 4.75/5, probably the ONLY good thing about this liquid..if that's what your into. the TH was so overpowering for me, it hit you on the inhale, exhale, and for a good 5 seconds once you were done with the drag, but it HURT man! next, the vapor production i would give a 3/5, it gave off less than the nuport flavor, it was the consistency of the end of a lit analog when your just letting it sit in the ashtray. not very good at all, but at least it wasn't a guessing game like the nuport i guess? and as far as the flavor, ill give it a 1/5. yeah, its really that bad. it tastes like a car air freshener tree would taste like, and after the inital dripping and couple of drags, it got this awful creamy/plastic taste to it. awful. i used this as my backup for when i had no cash and needed nicotine badly, which inadvertently let it sit for up to 4 months in a cool dark place to cure or whatever...never got better. in tital i would give this flavor a 2/5 and would never buy this again. ever.
in my total experience with totallyvapor, i would rate them a 3.25/5 for their customer service attitude, prices and flavors. i would probably only go to them in a serious bind when i don't want to smoke analogs and am waiting for a shipment.
next i have three flavors from dekang, all of which i purchased from litecigusa.com: honey, djarum black and kamel Turkish/desert ship. all are 18mg and 100% pg. i would rate my overall expirence with litecigusa.com and dekang at a 4/5 because they had awesome prices, great customer service and great products. i ordered at 1am and my product was shipped by 10am THAT day. (i work second shift, hence the late hours) i got my product in 4 days, but i would consider it three because here in ct, the highways were shut down for a night due to the snow, so i don't deduct points for something that is out of the companies control. the only thing i would have to note that i do not like about the dekang products is the bottles that they come in, i purchased 3 10 ml bottles and they are this hard plastic rather than a soft plastic that TV has, making it hard to drip 2 drops rapidly without squirting liquid on your finger/atty and drowning your atty. (also, ill admit it, i drip and drive, which no one should EVER do, but I'm just THAT much of a bad ...
so the bottle make it even harder to drip and drive) but overall i would give the products a 4/5 and the service a 4.5/5 for shipping THAT DAY.
Ok, so for the honey: i would give the TH a surprising 4/5 for 18 mg. it hits pretty damn good! constantly every time too! it hits you on the inhale and exhale and leaves as soon as the vapor does. as for the vapor production, i would also give a good 3.75/5, i noticed that when i first drip the liquid, it gives a nice 4.25/5, but all of the dekang liquids that i purchased are very watery and do no last very long in my atty, so after about 8-9 drags i find myself refilling because i am getting VP at a 1/5 as opposed to TV where i could get about 20 drags before a refill. (good strategy to buy more product i guess?) but as far as flavor...wow. 4.75/5. for sure. its perfect honey, not too sweet, but very flavorful. i find to taste like they honey off a honey dutch master which i LOVE. i find myself smoking the honey with an Arizona green tea just like i used to with honey dutch's! love it! all day vape? yep. i have been holding back because i could chain vape this NON stop! over all, 4/5.
next is the djarum black: as far as the TH i would give a 3.75/5, because its 18mg, and a little weaker than the honey for some reason. it hits you on the inhale, and leaves halfway out of the exhale. for the vapor production it dittos the honey, so just refer to the 3.75/5 for reference. and for flavor...4.5/5. yup. why? you ask? because it mimics the blacks ALMOST to the t! it tastes almost exactly like a black! oh how i have missed them! Obama banned them, but now i have them back! the only thing that's missing is the numbing feeling/taste that the blacks had. (but wasn't that some awful chemical for you that were trying to avoid here in the world of vaping?) all day vape, no. i didn't smoke blacks all day, nor would i vape them. but its very good, overall, 4/5 dekang.
and last, but not least is the kamel Turkish/desert ship: this is a flavor that i could not wrap my head around until about two hours ago one of the biggest reasons is because it has two names. i bought this because i used to LOVE camel Turkish gold analogs, and thought if i try this flavor, and it does not taste like crackers its getting a 1/5. (i know, your thinking umm...what? but the golds used to taste like crackers to me for some reason...don't judge me.
) but then i relised its not supposed to taste like golds, just reg camels. and that's why i had a hard time wrapping my head around this flavor. but for the TH i would give it a 3.5/5. its good on the inhale, then leaves before the exhale. as far as vapor production, again ditto the last two, 3.75/5. and taste, i would give it a 4/5. this flavor is tricky for me, it tastes like pretzels to me, and also like camels, but its yummy. i think this is my new all day vape! its very smooth and tasty and lasts longer in my atty then the other two, i love it! over all, 4/5. well played.
in my overall expirence with dekang/litecigusa.com, ill rate them at a 4/5, they have some awesome and accurate flavors and i would def get some new ones and ones that i have already, but in bigger bottles. great prices also! however i wish they would thicken their liquid up so i don't have to drip as often, otherwise i would give em a 4.5/5. i hope this review was helpful and feedback would be awesome! thanks everyone and happy vaping!
