Using the carto for dripping didn't last very long. It soon lost performance so I took the diaper out and it had a long burn hole in it. The carto is history now but I sure would like to know why the resistance was so high unfilled and then down where it should be when full. It probably got burnt when I put it on my Riva because that is when I first got the burnt taste. 3.7v shouldn't have burnt it when it was fully filled.
Like stated previously, high ohms indicates a bad/loose connection with the coil. When you filled the carto, the liquid most likely helped the connection (think water on bare electrical wires).
I'll probably never hear the end of it.
