Just went to a local vendor and was delighted to find that the atty's there are $5 a pop so I naturally relieved him of the company of 8 of them.

Now the problem is that I bought LR and SR atty's and put them all in the pocket of my cargo pants. Every other atty I have seen, make that 4 and only LR, have had SR or LR written on them.

These do not.

I find I am looking at 8 atty's with the only discrenable difference being that on 5 of them the bridge's width is far less than the other 3.

Would it be fair to assume these are SR's ? As the bridge's on the wider one's are the same as on the LR's I have.

Or am I going to make an even bigger oaf of myself by playing with a multimeter that I have no real clue how to operate lol

All good but thank you.

Have a multimeter and found a youtube vid that explained how to use it in in this instance in less than a minute.

Seems that they are 2.4 and 3 ohm. Interesting that I checked the LR's I bought last week online and the 2 types went 1.4 and 2.2. That perfectly explains why all I got was a burning flavour even at 3.2 volts on the 1.4's.
