I have been reading alot about these and I definetly want to give some a try, I will get some on my next order. From my understanding there are some small tweaks you can do to the inner rings to make them wick better and in turn preform better. If you are still getting a burnt taste you might want to try turning it upside-down so the liquid can get to the wicking material better. I'm sure there is some information on this wonderful forum that could make your expierence with these better.

I am simply repeating what I have read, though. I have not had a chance to try these myself so I don't know if any of that works :)

EDIT: By the way, has anyone tried the 2.8-3.0 ohms clearomizers on a 6v device? Any good at that voltage?

I take the plastic cup of the top(use some tweezers)and this makes refilling a breeze just drip down the side like a regular carto without the wait to soak in batting, then put the little o-ring back on way it came off and they seem to hit better to me.I agree to some degree about not hitting great on reg. batts but on roughstack or boxmod hit better also I use them on 5v PT and the hit is even better.Just keep in mind you can't hot box these on will get burnt taste.Scorched I was wondering same thing about the 2.8-3.0 ohms ones on 6v because I use that alot.....will try that next week on my visit to MV and will report back if no one else has responded yet.

from what i have experinced is they burn hotter than most cartomizers so a vv or a lower voltage is best. i got the 2.8 -3.0 ohm and modded at 5v it gets hot quick and burns through the juice quicker than it can wick even with the cap pulled up a bit. i really wanna get a map tank mod. the maker most angry says its the fact that the wicks are pinched against the side of the tube between the plastic cap and wall of the clearomizers. the reason the tank mod is so open.

Having the burnt taste with them on my Ego and 510 megas. It is really bad am thinking about trying smok tech 3.2 cartos (brand new to using cartos since reg atties gept tasting burnt too) because I also tend to chainvape a lot. I have even pulled the rubber cap under the oring up enough to wick better and not flood it, but still have the same issue. until i can place that order going to lengthen the nichon to a higher ohm and see if that helps any.

OK just finished cleaning it, a she lives:) man o man was there alot of crud on the coil. cleaned it off carefully, i used isopropyl alcohol it dries fast. the nice thing about the clears are they come apart easy for cleaning,, i did mess up the wick a little but i`m sure it will still work just fine. a syringe makes a nice mini power washer. from now on i think i will clean them weekly just to make it easier to get the crud off.

Haha. I am strongly thinking about buying the clears because I know that some of my 510 attys could be brought back to life if only I could get to the coil like I would be able to on the clears.

I've been taking off the cap and refill by dripping, then put o-ring back and has been working pretty darn good....also have some drip tips I use with mine that fit.

He's cutting the wicks completely off at the coil/atomizer only he doesn't demonstrate how he does it on the video. On another youtube video (see below) someone demonstrates with an empty clearomizer attached to a PV how to remove the clear tube from the base of the clearomizer.

By "O-ring" are you referring to the middle silicone ring of the clearomizer and are you using a 510 drip tip?

Because the wicks weren't able to provide enough juice to the atomizer coil for non stop 5 volt vaping. After he took 4 to 5 vapes he would tip the PV so that more juice would flood the atomizer coil and continue vaping. Looks like a great clearomizer mod for 5 volt vaping. I've read on the forum elsewhere about cutting the wicks for an improved vaping experience and I'm wondering if the 2.4 - 2.8 ohm clearomiers would vape better without the wicks using a 3.7 volt PV?
