I got some cartridges and an atomizer for a 510 and thought it would be a good idea for testing flavors. However after watching several videos it seems like the cartridges do not absorb the e-juice correctly. They soak in quickly on the videos. On these the e-juice pools on the first drop. Is there a need to prime them somehow? I took a paperclip and poked some holes in the filling but it seemed to help only minorly. My thinking these might just be duds?

make sure you are testing at the same power as what your regular device is ie: regular device is 2.1 ohms at 3.7 volts = 6.5 watts (approx.) so if your 510 attys are different you will need to either dial up the voltage if higher ohms or lower the voltage if lower ohms unless of course you are using a VW device then just keep it at the same wattage setting

remember that there are subtle flavor changes between devices also due to top or bottom coil, airflow etc but this will work to get a sense of a flavor ( I use a cheap octo dripper with cotton wick - takes about 30 seconds to replace the cotton, dry burn coil while cotton is out and go to the next flavor - DIY)

also get some plain VG from Walmart and use a drop or two in between flavors (vape it) to clear the old flavor off the coil
