I have a 510 battery connected to an adapter connected to a cartomizer. With a toothpick broken off in one of the holes, the draw is impossibly stiff. Without the toothpick, the draw is so light it's worthless.

Neither draw produces much vapor. I'm about to give up on cartomizers and adapters. Any other ideas to try?

Thanks,
Debbie

Debbie,

I have adapters for the 510 to cartomizers from both altsmoke and heaven gifts and I have not experienced what you have on this. I have, however, experienced some cartomizers with flavors that produce uncommonly low vapor - namely V4Life's "newport" and "cuban cigar" being the least amount and then others producing good vapor and other flavors in somewhere in between. Before writing off the adapter, try a few other cartomizers first. One that I know produces good vapor is the cafe mocha frappuccino from Vapor4Life. If you have the same problem with that, then I'd say there is something wrong with the adapter, which is certainly possible.

The other possibility other than airflow could be connectivity where the atomizer isn't getting enough power. For this, on a temporary basis you could try a staple mod:

... you might try that first before buying more cartomizers to try ;-) This assures a connection, so if you get the same low vapor production after trying this, then it's either the cartomizer or something about the adapter.
