Hey all so I know that the 510 is cery popular around here. I would wondering about accessories. I just got mine and would like some feedback. If you were going to buy or replace any 510 accessory which one or ones would be your fav. I'm probly going to tackle this one step at a time. So whats going to give me the best bang for my buck and go the furthest?

Whats up with the tornado? Am I i missunderstanding something or can the tornado battery be used for the 510?

The Tornado is one company's brand name for the eGo, and yes, the Tornado/eGo uses the 510 atomizer and cart ... it's essentially a really high capacity 510 battery with an atomizer cover ("cone").

I just ordered my 510 today and have been reading about the passthroughs, some say it may harm your computer so to be sure to use the wall adapter with it if you are concerned. Not sure what to think, but I have been using ecigs for awhile, was just getting too expensive paying shipping from China. Good luck with yours!!!

Welcome to ECF. What suits your need depends on a few things. Are you mobile a lot? Sit at your computer for hours (ordering juices and parts, and reading ECF!)? How much do you vape? Do you like LR atty's? What do you currently have? I guess I'm asking you to tell us about yourself a bit so we know what to recommend.

well for starters I am a stay at home dad so I'm not mobile near as much as I like. I am using a stock 510. The only issues I have with it is it seems like I have to fill up more than I like to. Its like after about 10 -12 drags or so things start to diminish. I will be going to a bigger battery one day. Thats about all I got for now. I was thinking instead of a battery upgrade maybe just one of those personal charging stations would be cheaper. As of right now I go through about 2 - 2.5 batteries a day. oh and cheap is my middle name :D I'm almost wondering if it would be cheaper to switch to a new model instead of beefing up my 510.

If you are on the computer a lot a passthrough is great. If you're not near the computer but sitting in a chair a lot you can get a wall adapter to plug your passthrough into. PT is about $13, wall adapter $5. If you don't like filling cartridges, try cartomizers. They're a bit more expensive but hold a lot more juice and eliminate the need for a separate atomizer, at $8 per 5 pack they're great but they don't last as long as an atty. You can always add extra batteries to your 510 if needed. A larger Ego battery and charger would run about $25 or so and give you mobility and longer life. I've got a PCC and it's ok for mobile use but it charges batteries slowly so if you want a battery to charge in an hour forget it. The 510 PCC is going to run about the same price as an Ego battery and charger.
If I were trying to get by on the cheap I'd look at the passthrough. If I wanted cheap and mobility I'd get an Ego Mega battery and charger and use the 510 batt's when that one's charging and get another Mega later. That's my opinion, I'm sure others have theirs. I'd also look at keeping some extra parts, you never know when your gonna need them.
