We in the same boat,Freemax never delivered on their promise to send one so now i am stuck with a mod that i truly loved but i cannot use.
Looked and looked all over and nothing...
Poor developing from their part,release this model then 1 or 2 months later release the ''model'' with the 510....shame on them.
I would definitely be more upset had I not won it. That being said as an experienced vapor I wouldn't have purchased it without a 510 being available at the same time. Had I been newer I might have fell into the trap and then not even been able to get coils. Like I have my sources for shipping and such but I'm also in a state in the United States is pretty friendly towards vaping compared to others. So I imagine there's a whole host of people that bought that mod and they can't use it at all cuz they couldn't even get the coils if they wanted
Even the best companies fall down on this. Somehow I got talked into an Aspire Gusto pod which was actually pretty good for my vape style. I seldom use it and it's been a couple of years, but went to look for some pods and it's like they never existed. It wasn't a lot of money, but when you have a perfectly good piece of gear that gets obsoleted it's infuriating.
The way they treated me was just plain wrong.
They sent me the Maxus Max 168w for review purposes,with the pm they sent me saying they were sending me the said vaping apparatus they mentioned that a future 510 adapter would come out and that they would send me one.
After receiving and posting the review for the Maxus Max 168w along with 3 other times they sent me devices from Freemax to review i was still left without the 510 adapter,excuses after excuses for a piece of metal that costs 0.50$.
None of the 3 major distributors in Spain that are the ones that supply ALL THE STORES IN SPAIN work with Freemax and i know this firsthand.
I always mentioned to Freemax that there are no products available in Spain,just old Fireluke tanks and some random coils,take this website for example:
Pyrex are from a long time ago,same with the coils.
Only reason they have the Marvos X and Maxus 2 is because the distributor got its hand on a shipment which had a heavy discount.

Rep of Freemax asked me if i could talk with the distributors and see if there was a way to work together.
I did this for 2 reasons,50% because well you know me i like to help people and the other 50% was just me being a bit Self-serving,i do love their coils and i had no way of getting them here in Spain.
Bringing the coils from China would just be way too expensive for me to be able to use on a daily basis,just wasn't possible.
I talked with 3 of the major distributors here in Spain,spoke with 3 of them over the phone and 2 of them just said no and didn't say nothing more.
Other one didn't give much info but what he did say is that he wasn't happy with them,that is all the info i got out of him.
All 3 major vaping distributors that i talked to and none of them work with Freemax?
Must be a reason for that,just sayin'...sounds fishy to me.
To me personally well they dropped me from doing reviews,no hard feelings it is their prerogative there but the 510 adapter was a huge disservice to me personally.
Month or so when cleaning up my trunk filled with vape gear from reviews and such i stumbled upon the Maxus Max 168w which at the time was just a glorified paperweight.
Just there talking space without no purpose,took the box downstairs to the empty plot in front of my house where there is a huge wall and slammed the mod 2 or 3 times and pulverized the damn thing,served no purpose so i did what i did.
Their coils maybe some of the best but the 510 adapter incident put me off from Freemax products.
Oh wow. That is pretty problematic behavior. Even more so because they asked you to basically be a liaison for their company going from place to place to try to push businesses to carry their line of products and they couldn't send you as you so well described a 50 cent piece of metal. I don't blame you at all I hope you got a little bit of satisfaction out of breaking that product into nothing. I've seen your reviews You're always very positive very truthful but very kind to the manufacturers and for them to act like that is utterly inappropriate. I'm sorry that that happened. I hate when businesses large businesses especially don't keep to their word It just makes me very bitter
