510 and kr808d on same charger

Nobody wanted to answer this on thread for accessories so I'll try here.

I have a universal usb charger for my 510.( has the rubber sleeve instead of screw on socket ) While looking to purchase a KR808d1 batty I seen where several listings were stating that the universal usb charger would work for 510 or KR8 battys.
How can these 2 battys work on the same connection?!
The 510 has a female connection and the KR8 has a male connection, the charger doesn't use threads; but it still has to mate with the battery for a proper -/+ connection right?

I havent played the universal charger....does the center pin in the charger move in and out (ie spring loaded)... yeah the 510 battery is female and the KR808d-1 battery is male... but if the center pin is spring loaded then it shouldn't be a problem as the polarity on the batteries is the same.... for example with adapters I can charge my KR808d-1 batteries on my 510 charger with screw on connector...or my 510 on my kr808d-1 charger.. as opposed to something like the blu which has the same thread style as the 510 but the polarity is reversed...

no, the pin doesn't move, and when I tried my 510 batty with kr8 adapter it only went in about halfway and didn't light up like usual
