Hello,

I have notice on all of my (510) attys that at some point it just seems that they stop taking e-liquid, I blow them from every possible side, and then add a couple of e-liquid drops on it and it's the same, the atty gets super hot and there's almost no vapor, after a while i check it and there's e-liquid around the bridge.

Is this a problem with the wick? it seems like if no e-liquid is getting into it, or like if it is not holding any, if I refill a cart it gets even worst, lots of e-liquid around it and bubbling sound when I hit the power button.

I'm using a silver bullet with fresh charged (3.7, 18650) batteries, so power should not be the problem.

Last night I gave it a warm water bath for a some minutes, blow it out, then hit it couple of times (dry run?) then 3 drops of e-liquid... same problem :(

I check the resistance with my multimeter and it is 2.6 ohms, which I believe to be correct.

What can I do?? I can't use carts, I can't drip on it, and I'm a bit scare that if I keep hitting it up like this it will melt something :(

Has anyone experience this? it seems to happen to all my attys, I don't know if maybe the e-liquid that I use has something to do, this one last me about 3 weeks with JC's vanilla liquid...

Is it possible for the wick to get misplaced somehow or something like that?

Isopropyl Alcohol. 15 min soak. Let it run through (dunk, drip, dunk, drip) Blow out. Dry burn just a little. Let dry out.

There's a vid by Cozzicon somewhere.

Also, if you suspect wicking issues, try a direct drip and see if it works. If it is flooding, though, you have TOO MUCH liquid, not too little. Unless it is the cart that is flooded, not the atty.

You can also find threads on high-pings dry burn method. Can burn out an atty if you go too far.

Thanks AttyPops, I don't have isoproplyl alcohol here but I'll try to get it, thanks for the video

I'm doing direct drip but it just looks like if the liquid goes everywhere but the coil.

What I just did was to blow from the cart part blocking the exits and after that the next 4 or 5 hits were really good, but then back to the same :(

Was just having an issue with dripping similar to yours. My atty seems to be over filled with 3 drops, leaks all over, liquid in my mouth too. But after talking to my boyfriend, we have concluded, that it must be the juice. In comparing notes, it happens with a juice that is 20%vg and with a DIY I made that is 50% vg. Our conclusion is that the thicker the medium(vg being thicker) the more it "melts" when heated, making more liquid. Mostly the problem is at higher voltage (on my 5v PT) since the juice works fine in a cart on my eGo or 510.

Not sure what juice you are using and this is just our observation.

ah the issue i was just describing in the new members forum! i soak in alcohol every evening to avoid build up. i am still having a similar issue. it might be because of my juice as was previously stated. i haven't tried using a cart, just been dripping. it started around the time i switched juice. i love the taste but it's just not vaping right. perhaps ill try another juice
